Christians-Have you every evaluated the Q&A's on this site and thought, Judgement must be near?

Brothers and sisters in the lord. All though I know this site would not be an acceptable place for an accurate poll and it does not represent the majority. Have you every stepped back and took a good observation of the Q&A's people post and thought to yourself. The end must be near? I mean when you see the lack of morality and atheistic and humanistic views on the rise. I mean how much more before the lords mercy and grace have been exhausted? I am not much a prophetic doomsday scenario type person... But are we truly not living in the very last days? I mean it must be very close.. What are you thoughts? Prefer born again responses...

very respectfully sir yes I have seen how we must be living in the end times when I began to answer questions here. Never would I have thought the world was such a lost place! Here anything but Jesus goes and as believers we know, this is truly past the beginning of the end, it may not come in 100 years but it is well on it's way and I just hope more people listen with their hearts than with their minds!! our mind can not even imagine what the Lord has in store for us!!

i also see that is the problem here too . Too many people are trying to figure God out which He will never be analyzed with our mere mind!! Seems like the more books people read the stupider they become in trust and loving the Lord Jesus, If they would only hear and know and believe that the beginning of knowledge is the fear of the Lord then maybe they wouldn't be so head strong and their heart could get filled with real love the agape love.

but we live in a fallen world and we must make the best out of it for the short time we are here, and live for Christ Jesus and take our family friends and those who are seeking Him with us.

Thank you for your wonderful question if I could give you 2 stars I would but here is 1! SMILES. have a blessed day!

  • Asker, are you a freshly born again, or maybe a recently "reborn" or reawakened Christian? I'm asking because you seem to be viewing all this with a fresh set of sensitive eyes. I was once there. But I've seen a lot of it in institutions of higher learning, many work environments, common people encountered pretty much everywhere. Sinners and scoffers are here, there, and everywhere.

The natural inclination is always to interpret one's world view through the lens of one's localized experience. Another answerer or two above has already enumerated horrible battles and disasters over the course of human history that must have had people convinced they were living in the Last Days. In fact, the first century Christians thought they'd see the End Times during their lifetimes.

God also sends "chastisements", which are a different thing from the Last of Times, but by definition they're still unpleasant punishments, and people often die in them. The world has gone on through them. We might be due for a bit of that here in the US.

Is the Final Judgment near? I can't say for sure, but whatever's going to happen, fact is everyone's judgment is imminent, and it's going to be fairly soon relative to Eternity on the timeline. You know not the day or the hour. Be ready.

    God bless.

Of course they have. Thus all the questions about the rapture and 2012 and telling everyone all the time that the lord is coming back soon and thus all us heathen's should repent and accept Jesus or we will burn in hell. Of course god is all loving though.

The hate and bigotry is not just coming from the atheists. In fact at this point in history we are more moral than we have ever been before. I know people like to romanticize history and think oh bad things never happened. No abuse, no rape, no murder, no hatred. It was all just fine and dandy. But that's hardly the case. All of those things were highly prevalent. In the past it seemed almost as if people had no conscience what so ever. And those were in times when religion was the ruling force. I'm not saying all the bad things were CAUSED by religion. But I think people tended to use it more back then. People seem to have developed more of a collective conscience these days.

You know back when your great "messiah" was born things weren't all dandy and peachy and full of love either. People killed each other and committed what we would consider crimes left and right. They were full of so much more hatred then we are today. It was common practice to kill newborn babies. Pretty much everyone was physically and or sexually abused growing up. No, they did not have the technology that we do today or the weapons of mass destruction but that hardly means that they were better people living in a more moral time.

And religion has caused many atrocities. People kill in the name of religion.

I honestly don't understand how you can say that immorality is on the rise.. or that it is more than it ever was before. That is a bold faced lie.. or misconception on your part. That's 100% not the truth. If anything things are BETTER than they used to be.

Just b/c more and more people are starting to grow away from your religion does not mean the end is near. It just means that people's consciousness as a whole is shifting in a new direction. Things change. You cannot enjoy your position as majority forever. Learn to live with it.

When you say that your prefer born again responses, it seems to me that you are seeking responses only from those who are likely to agree with you. I'm a Christian, and a lay preacher, and I'll respond anyway.

I suppose the end might be near.

In the meantime, I am enjoying God's precious gift of life on earth, and I have no wish to have it end early. In any case, it is a sin to wish for death.

Anyone who thinks that the end is near has forgetten that Jesus talked about a thief in the night, and said that nobody knows (or can know) when the world will end.

During the horrors of WW2, with Dunkirk and Dieppe and the Blitz and Hong Kong and Singapore, everyone thought the world couldn't possibly get more evil and God surely must put a stop to it and end the world.

During the horrors of WW1, with poison gas and machine guns, everyone thought the world couldn't possibly get more evil and God surely must put a stop to it and end the world.

During the horrors of the Boer War, with Spion Kop and the concentration camps, everyone thought the world couldn't possibly get more evil and God surely must put a stop to it and end the world.

I'm sure that people were thinking the same thing when the Mongol hordes came slashing, when the Vandals and Huns sacked Rome, when the legions marched into the Holy Land.

A few sarcastic atheists, to be honest, pale by comparison.

actually, i have considered this, i agree we are living in the last days, however, we have been for 2000 years. if you mean in a prophetic sense, it would depend on your interpretation of eschatology, premillinium, post millinium. I personally do not buy into a final '7year tribulation' as the world, and now most evangelicals believe in, the 'left behind' theology. it is apparant from history, that we have been in a great tribulation ever since the Church was formed. i also propose, that the apparent lack of belief, the bad theology, the atheism has been around also for the last 2000 years. Just read some of Pauls writings to the churches, they had exactly the same kind of problems: immorality, lust, ungodliness, you name it they had it. The important thing to know, is that Christ will be victorious. If you can recall Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzers dream, about the image with the golden head, silver breast, brass abdomen, iron legs, then iron mixed with clay, and then finally a stone broke the image to pieces and 'filled the whole earth.' this is a picture of Christ's kingdon, thats what will fill the whole earth. not by carnal weapons, but by spiritual. Notice each material was succeddingly less valuable, but increased in strenghth. the strongest and least valuable was the stone, according to worldy definitions, but infinitly more powerful.

I agree with you very much. It seems that the majority of responses and answers on this site are athiestic and very disrespectful of my Lord and Savior. And that is just on this site alone. Just think about how much more it is going on.... The world has this "anything goes" and "everything is ok" additude and that's just not how it's supposed to be. Being politically correct has not helped us any but has made it worse. Most people (that I see on this site) are ok with abortion, which is in EVERY way a murder. God said this would happen in the end days, that we would be scoffed at, laughed at, and looked down upon. We are already having killings in this world for people just saying they love Jesus Christ, look at China and all of these other atheistic countries. It is totally sad but this is what we knew would happen as God told us it would. All I can say is don't deny Him when asked. He is the Most High and I love Him!

Yes, it's a shame that there is such a lack of decency! I am just glad that I am covered by Jesus sacrifice. Sometimes, I wish the rapture would happen but then I realize that many still need to come to know Jesus as Lord. I usually only answer questions from my contacts.

There ARE a lot of wack jobs here, thank heavens this site doesn't represent the majority. But there are a few of us still determined to shine HIS light even into this den of humanity. there ARE a few folk who come here genuinely looking for answers.

We dont KNOW when judgment will come no man knows the day or hour and we all SHOULD live each day as though HE will come in the next hour.

But people are people and need convincing "Where's the proof? "

Even Doubting Thomas got his proof in the end, Jesus was merciful. I only wonder will some of these antagonistic people here know His mercy when HE spreads His hands before them once more? will they see His wounds for what they are and repent their doubt as Tomas did? or will they spit in His palms, reject His love and mercy and suffer the consequences?

    A Pity Really

    Blessings!

Not so much because of this Q&A -- but just everything in general. The great "falling away" is here; which precedes the revealing of the man of sin, the son of perdition, the Mighty Antichrist. (II Thessalonians 2).

I certainly agree with you. It is revolting to me as I read some answers and comments on here.Granted they have the right to say and believe what they want but I think about the enormous number of people in the world that think the same way and it is really sad.How much will God take, that is the question.
