Will I be able to get a piercing if my 18-year-old sister comes with me?
I'm almost 16 and want to get my second holes (ears) and cartilage (right ear) pierced. I live in New Hampshire--is it okay if my 18-year-old sister accompanies me or do I NEED a parent?

My sister and I tried this. You need a legal guardian. It's rather unfortunate. Good luck! I have second holes too!

No, you will need a parent or guardian at any piericng place. Sometimes like if its a movie theater if you have someone over 21, they will let you go see a movie, and different piercing places have different rules. One thing is sure no matter what your 18 year old sister will not be able to get you the piercing done, sorry for the bad news =(

I know you can get your lobes pierced AT 16 without anyone, cartilidge I'm not sure. But I don't think having your sister come is gonna make a difference, she's not your legal guardian.

No you dont if you have a sibling or a parent with you and they are over the age of 18 then they can sigh for you

You need a parent or legal guardian. A legal and reputable shop could potentially lose their licence if they did otherwise.

Your sister can sign for you ONLY if she is your legal guardian.
If she isn't, you need a parent to sign for you.
