I'm almost 16 and want to get my second holes (ears) and cartilage (right ear) pierced. I live in New Hampshire--is it okay if my 18-year-old sister accompanies me or do I NEED a parent?

Hi everyone--I was wondering what your opinions are of this song I've written. I know that the lyrics are simple, but let me tell you that there's a beautiful melody that I've written for them, so I think it works.

In recent days

I find myself not knowing where to turn.

I guess I’ve still got a lot to learn

I'm a dramatic soprano, and I almost always have incredibly well-supported breath and tone. However, during vocal auditions, my nerves get to me and my breath support becomes shaking, thus altering my tone. It's very frustrating because I know that my skills/talents are quite ill-represented in my auditions.

I'd appreciate any advice greatly. I have an audition for Interlochen Arts Academy in a few weeks and would love to get my breath under control.

I have over a 4-octave powerful range--think Christina Aguilera/Kelly Clarkson-ish

I sing and write my own material in both Spanish and English (although I am not Latina)

I am still young (in my teens)

Suggestions for pursuing my dream? Is it worth it?

I've been told I could be the next Christina Aguilera or Mariah Carey. I have a 4-octave range and I've been told that I'm a great songwriter. I'd really like to go somewhere with my music, but I live in the middle of nowhere in a tiny town in New England. Any suggestions?
