If someone blocks you on facebook, does that mean that you cannot search for anyone with their name?
I sent a friend request to someone from work a few weeks ago. She never accepted. After a search for her name on facebook these last two days, I couldn't even find anyone on facebook search with her name when there were about 30 people with her name previously. As a little test, I got a friend to do a search for her name today straight after my search and it came up with her and all the other people with her name.
So basically, have I been blocked from searching for anyone with her name?

Yes. It sounds like she blocked you. Because even when you're blocked, you can't search that person.

when somebody's name is un clickable or in black it means they have their privacy settings a certain way probably so that only friends can search for them or nobody can. yeah i saw that my friend had a facebook for a year and she didn't request me until the summer because i would see her wall posts on other people's walls or her picture comments on somebody else's picture. also that person's facebook account might have been deactivated. if somebody blocked you, you probably would not be able to see their name or comments they leave on somebody elses facebook.
