The Dark Knight. I agree Iron Man doesn't stand a chance against The Dark Knight at all.

I agree w/ you. But both are gonna rock, no question.... The Dark Knight is going to have a creepiness, a sadness, almost a horror about it...because of the death of Heath Ledger...and in a way it works for the film. The Batman movies should have those elements... and I know it sounds morbid...but that's just how it's going to come across to alot of people. The Dark Knight is going to be more palpable and it's going to throw some people off...because they'll be looking at it as a "comicbook" movie and then at some point during the film... it will hit them.
Iron Man will be the most kick a$#@ movie Marvel has put out
but I think The Dark Knight will stay w/ people more.

The Dark Knight definitely and I am only basing this on the trailers for both movies. The Dark Knight's trailers look better, but I will still watch Iron Man since I am a big comic book fan.

Honestly, that's a hard question to answer. Jon Favreau is tackling an amazing world and a great hero, but he doesn't have very much under his belt (in terms of directing) that gives me confidence in his abilities.
On the flip side of that, Christopher Nolan has Memento, Insomnia, and Batman Begins under his directorial belt. And all of those movies are worth watching more than once. However, this is his first sequel and we all know how sequels work in Hollywood.
So if I had to choose one that will knock my superhero world over, it would be The Dark Knight. I've got a lot of faith in Nolan, and I am certain he can make this worth while. I mean, look at Spider-Man 2. It was the best of the three. If Sam Raimi can do it, so can Christopher Nolan.

I believe the Dark Knight will be much better. I am a huge Batman fan, and from what I've seen as Heath Ledger as the Joker, he seems to encompass the character perfectly. Such a shame his life was ended too short, he could of been a fantastic actor.

Considering how much they seem to have changed the plot to Iron Man, I don't think it's going to be very good (think The Hulk.) Robert Downey is an intriguing choice to play the character, though.
I haven't seen any previews with Heath Ledger as the Joker and he seems a bizarre choice for the role. Batman Beginning was a great movie, though.
