Are blue jean jackets in style?

Yes, they are in style because they are classic! Just don't...don't wear them with jeans.(If you wear jeans of the same shade of denim it will look like a denim suit which is hideous) I would love a nice denim jacket. Don't buy a cropped one or wear it with leggings or else you'll look like a fashion victim.

The people who say that they are not in style are "trend whores". Wear it with a dress or a top and a skirt or khaki pants. (My favorite) Anything khaki on the bottom will look great and so will cotton or corduroy.

They look really nice when you have a cute, tighter top underneath, or, a collared shirt with it's collar over the jacket's collar.

Wear jeans and some nice boots underneath.

**Don't** get a jacket which is the same color as your jeans. I wear lighter color jeans but my favorite jean jacket is made of very dark denim (like a charcoal-blue) - from Talbot's. Also the jacket has a tailored look so it's very flattering and not bulky like some other jackets.

IMO jean jackets are always in style when you wear them accordingly. You should always try to wear it as a complimentary piece to an outfit that already has a worn or vintage look to it. In addition, you can also add it to a clean-out outfit to just throw it off and give your overall appearance a more metropolitan feel. I suggest that if you are looking for some inspiration to look through some Ralph Lauren brouchers for styling tips because denim looks are in every collection, male or female.

eh.. some people can pull off the b.j. jacket but others look like a 1985 freak. Usually really thin people who have other accessories that down--play the jacket look better.

I don't think so I don't like Jean anything other than in jeans but for many other people yes!

I recently saw a girl wearing one with khaki capri's and ballerina shoes...it looked very nice. Never wear them with jeans...that's too much denim.

Who cares. You like it so wear it.

I would say that they're going out fast. Nobody wears them anymore.
