What if Ovechkin playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins?

Wow! What if the Pens had Ovechkin, and the Caps had Crosby. As much as Pens fans hate Alex now, and Caps fans hate Sid, imagine the Pens fans loving Ovechkin and Caps fans loving Crosby. lol, the world's going to end.

To be honest I'm not sure the Pens would be as good this year. We saw who Ovechkin is, and maybe he would be a different person with the Pens but we can't assume he would be. On the other hand we have seen what a great player, and team player, Malkin is when Crosby went down. We saw him lead the team in Crosby's place. Although what difference would having played with Mario had made? Yeah he would have played with Mario a little. Although the Pens would have the mess of not having the extra time they ended up with since they didn't have Malkin. So now they have a little longer before the contract runs out.

To the first two last I checked Ovechkin was playing when Mario reretired. It wouldn't have been MUCH time together, but there was a few months.

He wouldnt have played with Lemieux, and its too late. Ovechkin is and will stay a cap for the next 13 years.

Ovechkin is way too much of a "puck hog" to be a good Pen like Crosby and Malkin
