Is there a way to delete ALL inbox messages at one time in Outlook Express?
I normally use webmail and haven't had to use my Outlook Express email account for almost 2 years. I just checked it because I need to use it again and there are over 10,000 emails in my inbox (most of them spam). It will only let me delete them one at a time. Isn't there some way I can delete them all at once. Thanks

I think this will work - -
Ctrl-A will highlight all of the emails
"Del" key will delete them all.
I think they will all be in your "Trash" folder and will need to be deleted from there too ! ! (? ? )
Email me if you need more help.

If the mailboxes are seperate on the server...
Actually if ur speaking of mail boxes in outlook using CTRL A is an error waiting to happen,, it won't let u delete many items in that window for mailboxes,,, now if u select both mailboxes by holding CTRL down and using the mouse to select each box to delete that MAY work,, if not do it one by one
if the mailbox is a dubdirectory of the original mailbox created by u then yes just delete the root folder
i dont think u can delete any folder on a system u don't control though so if u didn't make it u prolly can' t delete it =) u can delete the mail though.

Click the first one, then scroll to the last one. Hold down shift and click the last one. Now they should all be highlighted and you can press the delete button on your keyboard

i do no longer see how this is accessible to right now delete messages that are marked "unread" in OE. Is it accessible that your boss can configure his Microsoft Outlook to delete messages he has study?
