In NCAA football or basketball can a player lose his scholarship because he never meets the expectations he had when he was recruited? Or even if he really screws up and costs the team a game or more?

I would especially like to know the average starting salary but any and all salary information would be greatly appreciated!

My daughter, who's 15, is interested in photography and she wants to take some classes in school or elsewhere later this school year.

I know that she probably needs a dslr but I don't have the cash to get her one right now. I was thinking about getting her the Panasonic DMC-FZ35 since it gets reviewed as having very good manual options as well as raw, etc. If she really is serious about photography is that camera sufficient or would it be better to wait and try to find a cheap dslr somehow.

I have a 2005 Chevy Astro Cargo van that I use for business. On Monday the oil coolant line burst and the engine locked up. The mechanic I take it to says the best solution is to put a used engine in it but this will be about $3000. He says trying to fix the locked engine would be even more expensive and take longer. The van has about 135,000 miles on it. Is it worth getting this fixed and if I don't is there any resale value at all left in the van?

My son's girlfriend is 18 and she is purchasing a new car. She is financing part of it. The insurance for her is very expensive so I though maybe I could add her to my policy. I figure if the car was in my name it wouldn't be a problem, but since it is going to be in her name and since she's not actually related to me I may not be able to do it.

I'm using Kompozer to build a site. When I first started a new site it gave me the option to add a description, title, etc. I used /home as what would be shown in the URL. Everything I have read since then says you should always use /index_html as the ending for your main page. I cannot figure out how to change this in Kompozer before I publish my site. Does anybody know how to make this change. Thanks

I had been using Comodo Firewall Pro but it was impossible to get it configured to allow my network to function. So I deleted it and just turned on Windows Firewall. Is it secure enough if I am running everything through the router anyway?

I have an Intel 4300 CPU on an Asus P5L-MX motherboard. I would like to upgrade the processor to an intel E6850 CPU but it has a 1333 FSB and the manual for my motherboard says that it has a maximum 1066 FSB. Is this possible to do or do I need to stick to a CPU that has a 1066 FSB?

I have been looking for a while now and can't seem to find any concrete answers. I looked at TechSkills and New Horizons but have since read many bad reports online. I also considered CBT Direct which offers complete online training but have also read many bad reviews concerning them. I've considered going to one of the community colleges in Columbus, OH where I live but I really don't want to pay for a full Associates Degree in IT. I just want to get some good quality training in A+, Network+, Security+, maybe MCSA, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks!

I downloaded WMP 11 today and I need the "Find Album Info" button because I am trying to tag Artists and Albums for my Zune software but the "Find Album Info" button isn't showing up anywhere in WMP 11. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

I normally use webmail and haven't had to use my Outlook Express email account for almost 2 years. I just checked it because I need to use it again and there are over 10,000 emails in my inbox (most of them spam). It will only let me delete them one at a time. Isn't there some way I can delete them all at once. Thanks

I tried Picasa but it won't let me arrange the pics how I want and it overlaps them too much. I tried Paint.net and it's WAY too complicated. I can't make heads or tails out of it. All I want to do is take 3 pics of my 3 kids and create a simple collage to use as a background for my PC at work. Thanks for any advice.

My HDD Health program keeps showing warnings that my second internal HD is running too hot and is over critical temperature. It is running at 52C. My first HD runs at around 38C.

So far Tiger has won 12 Majors and he has always said his goal growing up was to break Nicklaus' record of 18 Major wins. He's only 30, but he hasn't been playing well in the Majors lately. Do you think he still has a chance? He also wanted to break Nicklaus' record of overall wins, but I can't see him doing that, because he doesn't play in enough tournaments. Nicklaus used to play every week almost because they didn't make the kind of money they do now.
