People who are on a cusp: do you deeply feel the traits of the both signs of your cusp??

yes, i am a capricorn/aquarius. i feel like both signs at once. i a hate following people like an aquarius, i am reserved and can be very silent like a capricorn, and many other intertwined traits

Here is what happens when you are born close to another sign (right before or right after) your Mercury and Venus fall in the sign that you are so close to. The reason why people say being a cusp is not true is because you only have one Sun sign. They are not saying that you are not influenced by both signs. You are actually influenced by every single sign but in different areas of your life and some are going to be more important and have more emphasis therefore affecting you more.

Mercury is how you communicate and how your process thoughts, ideas, and information. So when it is in a different sign than your Sun sign, you will be highly influenced by this. It is the same for Venus, but Venus represents relationships, how you are in love and what you like and need from relationships. You Sun sign really has nothing to do with money and how you handle it. Planets in your 2nd house (house of finances and things we value-possessions and our sense of self worth) as well as certain aspects show you tendencies you have with money, how you manage and spend it!

Mercury and Venus are both personal planets and depending on what sign they fall in they are part of the ones that affect you the most (The Sun, The Moon, and Mars are the other three personal planets). You also have a Rising sign which "colors" all the other things in your chart! For example, a Capricorn Sun sign with a Sagittarius Rising sign is going to be influenced by Capricorn traits and will be very different than a Capricorn Sun sign with Pisces Rising. See what I mean?

So the answer to your question is YES, both signs influence you but not because of where the Sun is but where the other planets are and the houses they are in and the aspects they make with each other according to not only your birth date (month, day, and year) but also the city you were born in and the EXACT time you were born.

For you, there is a good chance Mercury and Venus are in Aquarius, Google "Venus in Aquarius" and "Mercury in Aquarius" and read what they say, I bet they will make sense to you. But I can check for sure what you have if you add your birth info to the question. I'll also look at anyone else who answers this question and show them what they have for other planet signs and such.

Basically, I have the same issue with my Sun...too close to Aquarius. But, in my case, there is also an Aquarius ascendant.

I think that I have the traits of both signs and sometimes I may feel more like an Aquarius rather than a Cap (not for too long,though)

My mother was born on Virgo-Libra cusp but, her Sun is in Virgo. However, she doesn't really like that she's one and prefers Libra instead (which is also her rising)

Now I'm not sure if you're more of an Aquarian or not. It would depend on the rest of your chart, as well. As neptunerising said, perhaps your Venus or Mercury are in Aquarius and that (in combination with your Sun) makes you feel more like a Water Bearer...your rising is Air, as well, keep in mind.

I know many people who have the same problem...Most of them prefer the sign would be in if their Sun was more late. I think that perhaps this is due to the fact that signs which are after their Sun have traits that they are actually trying to acquire. (evolution) So, basically perhaps it is up to you to decide about it.

I get confused too! I'm like really at the border, 29.39 degrees in Scorpio. But feel like i have more Sagittarius traits.

Ok I'm back! haha. :P

So I'm also on the cusp at the very very end of Scorpio, 29.39 degrees. And even on my chart it looks like it's in the Sagittarius sign, which i really don't understand...looks like it should've been in Sag or something. Anyways, I really do feel traits of both signs. And it's kinda confusing since I'm a cusp of Scorpio and Sagittarius, AND my Rising is Sagittarius and my Moon is Scorpio, so it's even MORE confusing for me. They also say that 0 and 29 degrees is very critical....or whatever...

I feel like I'm quiet sometimes and other times I just can't sit still and I can't stop skipping and jumping around all over the place like I'm an energetic, happy-go-lucky kid! haha. And most times I'm quiet, I'm usually thinking and deep in thought about something...if I'm alone at home or work...and when I'm around people I can't stop talking if I'm excited about something, and I probably do EXAGGERATE when I'm excited about something, and I dramatize it. hahaha. :P And then there are other times when I'm with a group of people and I really just have nothing to say, so i stay quiet...I'm not the type of person that makes up stuff JUST to have something to say.

There have been times when a lot of my "friends" called me "dazed and confused" b/c apparently I always had that "look" on my face. :( I'm thinking it was the Sagittarius Rising.

Also I wanted to add that the reason I feel more like a Sag is that the traits that go with Sag I have more of than Scorpio. I wouldn't mind if the traits were even or something... I wish I had the trait where people would take me seriously like a Scorpio, but I'm thinking they don't take me seriously (when I am being serious) b/c I'm usually happy, and energetic and bouncing around like a little kid. But I just think of it this way, why sulk and be so serious all day and every day? Live happily and smile. Or at least try to...and stay positive. And I do have some traits of Scorpio...I have a few friends and family members that are Scorpios and I can relate to them on some things.

I am a Sagittarius/Capricorn born.. I am born on 22nd dec.. I am basically Capricorn according to the western astrology.. but you know as they say capricorns are so good with planning, money etc.. I AM NOT.. I hate routine.. i really suck when it comes to organizing money n stuff.. I am no old traditional kinda being.. I am really liberal.. I am not a pessimist.. I can relate myself more to a Sagittarius than Capricorn..

Many say cusp thing doesn't exist etc.. but i think it does coz i feel it .. :S

But there are certain traits that i do have as being a capricorn.. like good humor, a bit reserved, problems expressing emotions etc..

According to Vedic astrology i am a pure Sagittarius and according to Western i am Capricorn.. I asked which astrology is more true.. they said both are.. so i guess cusp thing doo exist ..

As you know, I'm on the Libra/Scorpio cusp. I'm an Oct. 24th Scorpio. I do not feel like a Libra at all; however, I click with them more than any other sign, and most of my friends and boyfriends have been Libras. Libra is in my 12th house, along with my sun, and I am sure this has a lot to do with the compatability.

Definitely, I was born on the Libra/Scorpio cusp. I do try to attain balance in every aspect of my life but I do have a very passionate, intense, sometimes jealous/possessive side to me as well. I am a Libra but possess Scorpio traits... anyone who tells you that cusps aren't accurate... are just upset that they don't have what we have! You do have one sun sign but can possess traits of both :)

I know a few Capricorn/Aquarius people that can easily be mistaken for Aquarius. I also know some Aquarius that can be mistaken for Pisces.

my birthdays 21st march which is the 1st day of Aries so im on the Pisces Aries cusp! i was due early march though so i should have been a Pisces!

im aries in a lot of ways but i relate to a lot of pisces too. iv also had frendships and r/ships with signs that aries wouldnt normally tend to go for so i guess thats the pisces in me.
