What is the Lee County property tax rate?
My tax rate recently increased in Lee County, but my property value has gone down. Anyone knows if the tax rate has increased? Do I need to call Lee County to have them re-access the property value?

It's entirely possible for your property value to go down yet the tax bill to go up. This is particularly true when property values are declining overall. The county budget stays static or increases somewhat yet the property base shrinks. This forces the millage rate up to compensate for the loss in overall property values. This can very easily force your property's assessed value down but the tax bill up.
If you feel that your property's value is artificially high you can contest the valuation. Every jurisdiction has its own procedures for that. Contact the county assessor/collector for information on local procedures. Note that typically once the bills are cut it's too late to contest the value. The time to do that is when the property valuation notices go out.

you probably did no longer say what county. yet in many situations in case you do no longer pay belongings taxes interior a definite time, there will be a tax lien on your belongings and at last you will no longer own it. SOL does not relatively enter into the image. the two you pay your belongings taxes or you lose your belongings, your determination.

You can protest property tax in any county of the US.
I presume you are in FL.
You may need to get petitions to pound into the klunkers.
Numbers will accomplish more than one.
This is something that counties are going to have to face, but I doubt that, being politicians, it has sunk in yet.
They may have to go back to third grade.
