Steep in cold water for a few hours, Keep changing the water and then place curtains in the machine and wash in a wool wash with wool detergent.

Wash them on a cool wash and take out immediately the cycle has finished. If they sit in the machine they start to dry and crease. Hang them back up straight from the machine - they can dry at the window. They don't take long to dry and make the room smell nice.

Easier to fold them into a shape which will fit into a bowl -sink of
hot water with washing powder in.Leave for 30 minutes -run the
cold water tap through them and hang up to dry(about 3 mins)
Washing machine can tear them.

I always wash mine on the Wool/Delicate wash approx. 30 degrees, with only drain and no spin. Then hang them straight onto the washing line (If you have one) or fold in layers over a clothes horse. I never put mine in a Dryer or you have to iron them.

Yea - if they are particularly delicate, put them into a wash bag and do them at 40 degrees. Hang up when still slightly damp.

You can do that but i think you have to put it on a cool wash because my mom washes our every so often.

A absolute no no. If you want to wash net curtains, get them dry cleaned, or best wash with hands. Just dip them in detergent for half an hour, dirt would come out itself... You just have to rinse them to get that cleanness
