Where can I find someone to hire to build a simple electronic circuit?

I live in Bedford, Texas. I have a design for a simple electronic device that I need to hire someone to construct (it was my dad's invention; he was into electronics before he passed away-- transistors, capacitors, diodes, etc.). Where could I find someone to hire to build one?

Not meaning to be flippant, but you might get a better response if you can provide the schematic of this device for us to assess.

Some things that it would help to know:

Is it patented? If not, will you want a confidentiality agreement?

Do you know what it is supposed to do? Will you be able to tell if it doesn't work whether it is a construction issue or design?

How much will the parts cost, and are you willing to pay for materials up front?

Does it require any special equipment to adjust, calibrate, or align?

Does it need a printed circuit board, or can it be breadboarded?

I would enjoy the opportunity to put it together. if you are looking for a local source, I would suggest a high school or trade school with an electronics program. You might try to contact a ham radio club.

    Good luck.
