The earth formed from interstellar debris that also formed the sun and other planets. This happened about 4.6 billion years ago.

Animals ultimately evolved from bacteria at least 700 million years ago. The first big step in this evolution was the eukaryotic cell with more complicated organelles than bacteria have. Some of this evolution was due to the incorporation of different bacteria, which became organelles, into a common cell. For example, the mitochondrion which is the energy powerhouse of the eukaryotic cell, was originally a mycobacterium, similar to the one that causes tuberculosis. Another example is the chloroplast of plants which was once a cyanobacterium, but became the oxygen-producing photosynthesis center of the plant and algae. Check the reference to Lynn Margulis at the end of this message.

The next step was the formation of multicellular organisms from a single progenitor cell. The big evolutionary advance that led this to happen was development of surface proteins that allowed cells to adhere to one another.

After this event, the animals, plants and fungi differentiated. The latest genomic data shows that animals are more closely related to fungi than to plants.

Science, unfortunately, so far, has no solid answers regarding how animals were created. The field of science that deals with this question is called "abiogenesis" It's a very young proto-science that has so far only advanced very vague hypotheses, and no testable models that are significantly relevant to the question. But, you might want to try doing a search for that word and seeing what you can gleen from it.

You shouldn't have any difficulty finding resource material on how the Earth was created.

the earth was formed when the solar system came into existence. As the matter which condensed to form the sun began to swirl together, the Earth and the planets also formed from the gravitational pull of this matter. Over the course of billions of years, the earth cooled, and the various elements combined under conditions conducive to there being created simple proteins, the building blocks of life. As more millenia passed, these proteins developed into more complex organisms, eventually animals, and eventual humans as we know them today.

scientists believe the theory of the "big bang" cause the evolution of life to begin. it all started w/ a large dense ball in the middle of nothing that exploded and created galaxies,stars,planets.etc. everything in space is expanding. then a planet called"earth" was able to support life. then organisms started forming. thatz all i know 4 now.

Ok, BASICALLY: the big rocks had slight gravitational fields, and so started to suck in smaller rocks and dust, and then larger rocks as the earth got bigger etc etc etc
