Why exactly do you keep your Yahoo! questions and answers private?

I would appreciate no one using the word 'troll' in their answer please.

    people following all my questions and answers making rude comments when ive made them.....probably because i made them mad by saying the wrong thing

    I would never do that, cowardly, I call it. I get loads of abusive emails, mainly from racists. I love them! Racists are of a lower order of intelligence almost by definition, and I like to rip them to pieces.

  • I got so many e-mails,I had no time to go on answers.Which in turn defeated the object.Of answering questions.Also at one point my yahoo put my full name in the travel section,Which scared me no end.

    Dont know if mine are, never checked, I've always just left the settings that were there when I created the account years ago.
