UK - Have you got good medical cover?
How much do you pay for medical and dental and who provides it?
Just to clarify - I want to know who offers the best cover, is it BUPA or HSA or someone else.
No more opinions please.

Hi,
Mines free with work, use to get Bupa, but now is PPP. Not bad service and they (so far) have never said no to anything we have needed. I think its expensive though around £45.00 per month.
Hope this helps?

My employer pays for my Private Medical Insurance and this year has moved away from BUPA to Norwich Union as the were cheaper for the same cover. I've never really looked at HSA, but I wouldn't have thought it was in the same league.

Our medical care is public.
It's funded by our tax so everyone gets free medical care and we don't need insurance.
The dental thing is a little more complicated, there are not enough dentists willing to work for the government so some people get free or subsidised dental care while others have to pay for private treatment.

The government pays for our medical cover but if we are working we have to pay for our prescriptions and dental treatment - if we are working and earning a low wage and receive working tax credit we get free prescriptions and dental treatment.

We have free health care and dental care, watch Michael Moore's Sicko to find out how screwed up the US is and how good the UK, France and Canada are when it comes to looking after its people

I only know what experience my parents have had with BUPA, they seem very happy with it.
Hope that helps
