Obama called his grandmother "a typical white person" today?

Most white people are racist=typical white person.

The more I know about Obama, the scarier he becomes. I guess I'm a "typical white person" too!

After being raised by wealthy white grandparents (grandmother was a bank president in Hawaii) after his black father deserted him (not to be stereotypical?) he feels the need to diss all whites to make himself feel more black? What does he have agaist his own "whiteness"? Like George Washington Carver, can't a black man become a black role model after being raised by whites?

Maybe Geraldine Ferraro was right, if Obama was white only, with his resume he would not be considered ready to be a presidential candidate. Is this political affirmative action?

Of course predudice exists in everyone. It's part of the survival instinct. If you saw a collie and a pit bull which would you approach. Why? Does the fact that you are black or white make any difference in this situation?

He's talking about her attitude back in the sixties and early seventies when she was raising him. I grew up in the same time era and recognize those feelings as not being uncommon among many, if not most whites, including my own mother. My mother was not an overt racist--she just didn't understand a culture that she did not have much contact with.

We've come a long way in the last 40 years and it's difficult for many of this generation to understand the social mores that existed in their parents and grandparents days. I understand what he was trying to say.

Obama is always pointing out that he is black and white. One of the commentators remarked about how he "threw his Grandmother under the bus" in his speech where his admitted that he HAD heard Wright's remarks.

I don't know if he thinks people will feel sorry for him...or if he thinks he can shame people into voting for him, but that is one of many reasons I will not vote for him.

Yes, it is double standards with Obama, anything that benefits him! If he is such a uniter, why doesn't he want Michigan and Florida to have their Primaries....because he knows he will lose! It was alway hurry with Obama....probably he was afraid all his past deeds would come out!

Its funny that its ok for them to say whites are afraid of blacks, a generalization. Yet wont address WHY some whites are afraid of blacks. As if we made up the stats and facts. Im not sure what is up with the double standard but im glad its being brought to light.

Clinton said she will take away the oil company subsidies and now it doesn't even matter that this guy wants to destroy America, they are all supporting him to preserve their stolen money.
