Would you find it acceptable?

For this Witch to say Happy Easter to ALL of the Christians out there as well as Happy Passover to all the Jewish folks. I'll also include all the Pagans and wish you a Happy Ostara as well. I'm not sure if any other Religion celebrates this time but I wish YOU the brightest of blessings as well.

And to EVERYONE a wonderful FIRST day of Spring (nothern Hemisphere, of course) You folks in the Southern Hemishpere get a happy first day of Autumn.

Brightest Blessings,

Raji the Green Witch

    Thanks Raji.

Will you be offended if I say Happy Easter to you as well?

    Blessings,

As I am stuck in between many various different belief systems, I'll be looking at Easter this weekend. But I'll be calling it Ostara, as I'm pretty sure I'm closer to Pagan than Christian.

Here in the UK, I observed the equinox early this morning. I think it was around 6 - 6:30. Or at least it was according to my satellite tracker on my mobile. At 6:22, the graphical representation of the Sun popped northward just a little pixel, and became perfectly aligned with the equator. It was a magickal moment for me indeed, especially as the 'day/night line' straightened up so that there was perfectly equal light/darkness on my world map.

I'll have to wait til September to witness a moment like that again.

    How nice of you :)

This Wiccan wishes everyone a happy spring!

As I said in another question, the snow finally melted in my yard and I get to celebrate this joyous occasion by picking up an entire season worth of dog poo.

And so those in the southern hemisphere get love too, happy autumn. May you not have to pick up anything gross.

Thanks, Raji. We've got quite a long wait till Passover this year (we're celebrating Purim today), but I appreciate the spirit of your question. Happy first day of spring to you, and best wishes for the return of the light.

I avoid flipping them off, as there have been too many road rage killings. I do put their names in the Big Book of people who will NOT get into Heaven. I just get far away from the idiots, because that cop might not know the difference and stop me instead! I will drop way back, use my cell to call the tag and vehicle description in to my local 911 about the "drunk driver", and usually, within about ten minutes, he/she/drunk/druggie/Soccer Mom, will be on the road side, "esplanin' they's problims" and why they have no license, lost the registration, and can't find the insurance card! I also do not honk as I go by. But, I do have the biggest grin you ever saw! All the police know me, and love me, for generating so much revenue for our city!

Happy Ostara and Spring greetings to you!

Hail the gods! Hail the folk!

Certainly I would find it acceptable!

There's nothing about being a Witch that says you can't wish others of different spiritual paths blessings for their own religious celebrations.

    Bright Blessings to you also.

Thanks Raji for reminding that all ancient religions / cultures celebrate the onset of Spring after cold winter season. I think this has nothing to do with any religion but a social event clubbed to the religion.
