I need good advice for trading in my cars for a newer one?
I have 2 cars to trade in ...they are a 2003 Chevy Sports Cavalier 43K and a 2002 Ford ZX2 with 79K. Now, the Chevy has wheel / tire problems and knocks the ABS and traction lights on...and the ZX2 need new motor mounts because it shakes (like a 76 camaro). Everything works good and no dents.
I know the KBB on these, but I think it's much less so what do you think my REALISTIC trade in should be for both?
And I would like to even trade them for another car, I do not want payments. So I guess a Honda is coming my way soon...
Thanks for your help. I'm not car savvy

How about selling the cars yourself? You'll get a lot more money than by trading to a dealer, who will only give you minimum value since he doesn't want fixer-uppers and will only dump them at a wholesale dealer auction.
After you sell the cars, you'll know exactly how much money you have to spend on a newer car.
