I live with my boyfriend and so far he has days to weeks of squeezing the life out of me where I'm so exhausted from overstimulation...then he will go into modes of treating me like I'm the most retarded person on earth. He doesn't say mean things, he just purposely ignores me or acts like I'm getting on his nerves if I ask him something. I leave him alone during those times, and we have our own projects and lives going on....but I can't help but want to talk about the rejected times while he's in his good moods...he seems to not even remember them.

Are these bipolar traits? Can someone who has bipolar please let me know if he is just mad at everything and not just me at those times? I'm getting confused.

I own a home and I have been renting a room to a friend that just got divorced. He has a new "Boink Buddy" (if you know what I mean). She has come over 4 times already and just walked in the door without knocking. Yesterday, she stayed at my house while he was at work....for 9 hours.... and this morning, when I woke up....she was cooking him breakfast with MY food.

Now, I told her this morning without any attitude "Please don't cook all of my food". And she got offended. Within 10 minutes they were back in his room, and she's getting her stuff together and then they leave with these condescending "Good Bye's". I just sat there, looking at a magazine...no conflict back.

Now what I want to know is, am I right about stopping her before she thinks an inch is a mile and she wants to take over my house??

In Texas. I asked if a Motel 8 was hiring and the girl said that they were not hiring and refused to give me an application. It struck me as weird because I'm not a drug user and I look quite conservative. She said that they were hiring for only housekeeping and sure I wasn't interested. So I left with nothing but a refusal. Is this legal?

I can find fuel efficiency for cars late 90's to present, but "classic" cars (early 90's and earlier) do not have information on the web that I can find.

I heard that you can have 2 garage sales a year then you need a permit....but when I try to find out info on how to get the permit, I hit a dead end.

Does anyone know the procedure to get a permit?

I have 2 cars to trade in ...they are a 2003 Chevy Sports Cavalier 43K and a 2002 Ford ZX2 with 79K. Now, the Chevy has wheel / tire problems and knocks the ABS and traction lights on...and the ZX2 need new motor mounts because it shakes (like a 76 camaro). Everything works good and no dents.

I know the KBB on these, but I think it's much less so what do you think my REALISTIC trade in should be for both?

And I would like to even trade them for another car, I do not want payments. So I guess a Honda is coming my way soon...

My friend violated his deferred adjudication probation because he tested positive for marijuana. They tested him again and it came up diluted. They tested him again and it was negative. (He asked for the tests on same visit and paid for them ).

He now has a meeting (monday) with his PO and PO Supervisor 3 weeks after the fact. He has been tested 5 times since then and they are all clean.

What do you think he should expect with this meeting?

(Original charge is felony drug....he's been doing probation for about 2 years now with all meetings attended, classes attended, community service hours almost completed, and paid every time).

This would be his "first warning" if they still do that. Thanks!

I had a bad air conditioner leak around the last week of September, and the management said that they repaired but my carpet still smells like mildew. I removed my furniture this sunday and made an appointment to have all the carpets cleaned on wednesday (only time off). The apartment manager has now stated that I have abandoned my apartment and want to accelerate rent. I have paid for this month including all water and the utilities are still (my name) on so I have no idea why they think I am leaving. This is a TAA lease in Texas, I think this is a retaliation for the repairs I requested for the air conditioner leak.
