Probation violation consequences in Tx?

My friend violated his deferred adjudication probation because he tested positive for marijuana. They tested him again and it came up diluted. They tested him again and it was negative. (He asked for the tests on same visit and paid for them ).

He now has a meeting (monday) with his PO and PO Supervisor 3 weeks after the fact. He has been tested 5 times since then and they are all clean.

What do you think he should expect with this meeting?

(Original charge is felony drug....he's been doing probation for about 2 years now with all meetings attended, classes attended, community service hours almost completed, and paid every time).

This would be his "first warning" if they still do that. Thanks!

Update:

He's in Austin, Travis county.

No priors. Thanks

It's up to his PO. PO's have HUGE discretion.

The fact that he didn't violate him right away but has left him out long enough to have 5 more clean tests is a good sign.

If the decide is strict than your probation will possibly be revoked and you will serve some reformatory time. Judges in my state will revoke and reinstate the probation yet deliver the perp to reformatory for some discretionary time meaning s/he would be on probation on a similar time as incarcerated for a volume of time.

Getting probation was his "first warning".

Depending on the county he is in, he may have a good chance of not being revoked this time.

If he is in Dallas, he is probably OK, but if he is in Ellis, he could be going to the pen.

If he gets no revocation this time he better be careful in the future.
