Do you still think that Rev. Wright is a racist. ?Read the details before you anwer.?
If you go to tucc.org which is the website for Trinity united Church In Christ and go to the about us section, there is a section that I cut and pasted that you might find quite interesting, it reads as follows. You bestow upon us your Holy Spirit, creating and renewing the church of Jesus Christ, binding in covenant faithful people of all ages, tongues, and Races. I capitalized the races part on purpose. The media only chose to read the part where is says we are unashamedly black without reading the rest of it to our nation. Why is that ?
Wrights words on the 9/11 incident were inspired by a WHITE American Ambassador to Iraq named Peck
Before the remarks he made about the "chickens coming home to roost" and the other things about what America might have done to instigate the attacks on 9/11 he informed the listeners clearly that what he was saying was a quote from US Ambassador to Iraq, Edward Peck.
At the end (where the media cut things off) he said it again:
"a white Ambassador said that y'all, not a black militant"

Trinity United Church of Christ drastically CHANGED their website after the scandal broke in order to help Obama. It is entirely different now than it was before. So you see -- Obama can be the instrument of change!
Edit: Although the TUCC revised their home page after the controversy, they still have not changed the entire site. Here is a passage from the "Black Value System" page:
http://www.tucc.org/black_value_system.html
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness.” Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must be able to identify the “talented tenth” of those subjugated, especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor’s control.
Those so identified are separated from the rest of the people by:
a. Killing them off directly, and/or fostering a social system that encourages them to kill off one another.
b. Placing them in concentration camps, and/or structuring an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.
c. Seducing them into a socioeconomic class system which, while training them to earn more dollars, hypnotizes them into believing they are better than others and teaches them to think in terms of “we” and “they” instead of “us.”
d. So, while it is permissible to chase “middleclassness” with all our might, we must avoid the third separation method – the psychological entrapment of Black “middleclassness.” If we avoid this snare, we will also diminish our “voluntary” contributions to methods A and B. And more importantly, Black people no longer will be deprived of their birthright: the leadership, resourcefulness and example of their own talented persons.

I don't care if "Reverend" Wright is racist (he has already proven he is, despite what his website says) or not. This is just one of many racist organizations in the US. What concerns me is that a potential future leader of our nation belongs to this racist organization, and is a faithful follower of this man so filled with hatred; thereby making him a racist as well. I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find a statement by Adolf Hitler that, taken alone, would tend to prove that he was not racist.
EDIT: Conslayer; did a white ambassador also say "God bless America, no,no,no, God damn America"? Did a white ambassador also say that white people invented AIDS to kill black people; crack cocaine, and the three strike laws to imprison them, and that whites are the blame for all black trouble? Did a white ambassador write the racist church tenets for Wrights TUCC church (that has been drastically changed since, btw)? Did a white ambassador refer to the US as "the U.S.K.K.K.A? No, I believe that was the Good Reverend that said all those things.

Interesting...however, I have a real problem with the leader of Trinity, Wright. He stood in front of his congregation screaming GD America, GD this and that, I promise you this is not a Minister, Pastor, or Preacher. Secondly, whatever happened to the separation of church and state? The left would go insane if a Republican Candidate were screaming from the pulpit much less using the term GD or any type of racial slur. Yet, this man did, Obama was present for it (and lied when asked), his wife attends and so do his young children. For nearly twenty years!!!! How long would it take you to figure out that you disagreed with the leadership? You can put anything on a website, and I understand that TUC has cleaned up their website anyway, it's irrelevant. Thanks

The media only wants to make rating. They want to pick out thing that will make news. I went to the website too. I save the video of white man who say nothing but good thins about Pastor Wright. The nightly major news station is not airing that. I think the media wants to decide who should be president. I notice that after Obama was winning 11 primaries in a row all this blacklash start happening. If voters ACTUALLY go to different candidates website and READ and get INFORMED for themselves instead of letting the media tell you who to vote for. Yes, I think it's strange.

How is someone not a racist when they blame their problems on whites?
According to Wright, the plight of the black man/woman comes ENTIRELY from the white race. Blacks don't share any responsibility.

Sure a used car salesman telly you he's selling you a low mileage creampuff and the next thing you know is you're spending thousands of dollars to keep it running, I don't pay one bit of attention to it, remember, "actions speak louder that words", and what I saw on those tapes is all the action I needed to see.

Its so funny that you people think that because it says something on some website somewhere that that makes it true.
Well I am the King of the World because I say it on this website, so time for some phucking taxes I need a new yacht.
