Republicans: Do You Think Fox News' Obama Coverage Is Backfiring?
Republicans,
For a few days, running the Rev Wright clips in an endless loop 24-7 on Fox News in between Hannity and O'Reilly striking their outrage-face poses worked well...kudos.
BUT...
Now the rest of the media is moving on to more important things, such as thousands of young people dying in a war that's gone on for 5 years now, an economy that's going into the tank, etc...
And yet Fox News is stuck on Obama Bashathon, trying to racialize his every utterance, and play 6 degrees of separation of association-guilt with everyone he knows.
It got SOOOO BAD this morning, that Chris Wallace- one of Fox News' ONLY reporters with some journalistic respect and experience OUTSIDE of Fox News, ADMONISHED HIS COLLEAGUES on Fox's morning show for their OBVIOUS
Obama-bashing obsession, and Chris Wallace is a REPUBLICAN!!!
Don't you think Fox and similar GOP apparatti fixating on his preacher as citizens want answers to to the war and economy
will backfire in November?

In reality it is nothing but a bunch of hot air back and forth. Media networks need a way to produce revenue and profit. This is just one way that creates sensationalism on the media networks. It goes to an old saying of "If it works once use it again". Humans are naturally drawn to controversy. Politically it will just be the same old left vs right stuff. Fox won't gain much except more viewers. White House on the other hand will just be fighting a media battle. The outcome will not be either side winning. It will just be a big media sensationalism for awhile then die off. As you mentioned media is just a big load of bunk. I stopped watching all TV and stick to something like Mythbusters on youtube. Something more scientifically interesting. Understand media will always be biased where ever you go. It never gives a holistic picture. Media makes money by attracting advertisers, using sensationalism, more viewers, following fads, and catering to the audience to keep them hooked.

I'm glad we have at least one network that's covering him. Most of the others are Obama lovers and are defending his every move right or wrong. I would say Fox being one out of 6 or more liberal networks is necessary, and I'm happy to have them. Yes, Obama is hurting from this, and I don't think we've heard it all yet. Remember liberals, there is the silent majority out there that hasn't uttered one word about how they feel yet, and they always seem to surprise us every election year.

It just goes to show that Fox "News" has nothing to do with the news. Fox is a Neo-Con right wing political smear machine that is regularly watched by people of little intelligence.
So will it backfire .....no.. Their fans are fixated on this ignorance and the rest of us have no use for them anyway. They will continue to be successful as they preach to an uneducated following.

Citizens also need to know why the man who wants to be President of this country associates with bigots, racist and all the while supporting their anti American rhetoric with tithes.... He gives a speech and the liberal press fawns all over him while having delusions of JFK and Lincoln but completely ignoring the fact HE Agreed with Rev. Wright..... Not only did he agree with Wright , he used his "typical white" grandmother to justify his bigoted anti white hysteria.. Even Jessie Jackson once said " that when he hears foot steps come up behind him and turns to see a white man he feels relief" This may not be PC but its true.. As for is it hurting him... yea check the polls. Not all Americans or whites are willing to forget who he chooses as a mentor...

I think he got what he should have gotten after saying what he said about the one lady, and how he took it all the wrong way with out even stopping to think, and letting that Reverend say what he said about the history in the past and telling tall teals like he did. So all I can say is he's getting what he deserves from all this.

Well, they got rid of Howard Dean (apparently too decent to get elected) because he sounded enthusiastic and human during a rally.
If one could count on voters' intelligence winning the day there'll be a president Obama in 2008, and who knows

They have been making a concerted effort to undermine his campaign in response to his refusal to appear on their network. Fox News is losing credibility and will suffer more if Obama wins the nomination. Remember, it's all about money.

If Wallace said that then he's begun to regain some of my respect he lost when he interviewed Bill Clinton a while ago.

Well they could just coddle him like all the other liberal news anchors. But that wouldn't be the truth now would it? Do you think all of this pure hatred for the Whites is make believe video? I didn't think so. To thine own self be true!
