In theory, what time of the day should it be at the North Pole?

Either at the magnetic / geographic pole or on the floating ice sheet.

Posted in philosophy as I'm interested in a broader interpretation of the question. Any opinions gratefully received

Thanks

Timeless in theory as all timeline logtitudes converge there so it is all possible times or no time/timeless. - In theory.

Or you could say its always noon in summer and always midnight in winter, that way it fits in with the light.

RIGHT ! for Carrin... and Dude, BUT

if you wear a watch, and if you are PRAGMATIC as I am (haven't you posted in Philosophy ?) time is your watch time

After all, you have to go to sleep and get up after eight hours

ref. Protagoras "man is measure to all things"

ref. ME "a man's watch is measure to his time"

time, as in divisions of time, is a human invention. The answer is whatever we decide it is.

Why is noon the start of pm? Because we decided.
