have you ever had to put time limit rules on your computer time because it was starting to effect your life?

YES WE DO HAVE TIME LIMITS ON THE COMPUTER.

MY GIRLS GET 30 MINUTES DURING THE WEEK AND 1 HOUR ON DAYS OUT OF SCHOOL. I LIMIT MYSELF TO 1 1/2 HOURS A DAY AND SOME DAYS I GO WITH OUT GOING ON LINE.

Do you have an addictive nature? Yes, the computer can become an obsession. Make it a point to back away from the computer and do something constructive--hobby, exercise, drive to the store for something needed around the house, yard work, project, etc.

Lol, I haven't, but certainly need to. I limit my kids to 1 hour a day, but I feel it is myself that needs the limiting.

Laptops are just way too convenient, maybe I need to have a desktop, as if I wasn't so comfy lying on the couch, laptop placed strategically on the couch, tv on, drink and food on the coffee table beside me, I maybe wouldn't be so tempted to stay online.

I limit myself to only 4 hours per day while I am at work.

Other than that there are no restraints.

I have put this time limit into place which is then totally ignored when I log on to Y!A.

I do that to, eat at the pc, i have not done the time limit thing yet, but i sure do need to! easier said then done thou. were addicted!

i should do that too! my family has tried to put limits on me. i wasn't very happy about that. but, i really shouldn't spend so much time on this thing....
