My Gateway laptop got wet. When I press the power button, the computer beeps constantly and lights flash.?
The power button and wifi lights blink blue. A symbol I can't identify blinks pink and blue. On the bottom front (under the space bar) are a blue light and a pink light next to each other that stay on the whole time.
Is my motherboard fried or my battery dead? How much will it cost to fix this? Are my files safe? I have stuff on there I need.

I think it's about a boy who was raised in a religious home but rebelled and didn't believe in God. He started his own religion and dared his friends to do crazy things. When they jump off a water tower or something like that, one dies, and it raises moral questions for the kid who dared the others to jump.
