Puzzle for you, first to answer correctly gets 10 points.?

Well unless you make me laugh.

Ok count all the numbers from 1 to 100 together, what is the total?

ie 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 etc etc, and yes include 100 to.

Update:

Update 3:

To everyone who got a thumbs down, im sorry, some tube no doubt. I have given everyone a thumbs up, thanks all for answering. x

    The total of numbers wouldn't change, there would be 100 from 1-100.

    yey first promise me u select my answer as i very new to yahoo answer

    here is the solution for your puzzle

    1+2+3+4+5+6+..............................................+100

    It is simple AP series so use the formule

    sum = 1/2[n{2a+(n-1)d}]

    where n = number of term (here n = 100)

    a = first term ( a = 1) and

    d = difference between two term (d = 1)

    now put in formule

    you will get Ans.

    Ans. is 5050

    now give me 10 points

    I agree with Anthony Spears who answered first, 100......the total of counting the numbers,not adding the numbers.

    Source(s): EDIt Why would you give me a thumbs down for the answer.I'm not sure if it is correct .I gave credit to the person who gave it first.Anthony Spears.I figured the answer would be really simple and we'd all be taxing our brain for something that was easy.The answer of a 100 could still be wrong.

    multiply 100 x 100 -1000=total
