Should an 'Age Restriction' button be a good addition to Yahoo Answers, meaning that ....?
As everybody has to mention his age when subscribing I can opt for my Q and A's not being shown to under16's /18's/ 21's.
Or whatever I choose.Nor to see theirs.
And an upper limit as well, for some kids seem sick and tired
of us 'old folks' answering their questions as well.
I don't want worried parents to report me left right and center,
protecting their kids, from 'evil' influences.
And if the kiddos lie about their age, they'll be watching a lot more 'evil' stuff than our lame questions on P&S.
I can assure you of that.
Replexgirl, and others, that's why I want the button, So we have the option on every individual question.
If the Kids don't want us oldsters to see it they press it.
If I don't want them to see mine, I do the same.
If I consider it harmless or want everybody to
see I press nothing.

I think it's a good thing to have the age restriction. Although you can tell by some of the questions and answers on here that they can get around that as well. Like some of the others have said, I don't think that I want to be getting advice from a 10 y/o on some things.

Sometimes the kids need advice from older people, but in general I think it's a good idea. There can be some pretty disturbing questions on here at times that young kids do not need to see!

yea, sometimes I get tired of answering the "drama filled" questions, and I'm sure they get tired of my answers as well. But sometimes I feel that they can benefit from my experience. We don't all have to make our own mistakes, sometimes if we are fortunate, we will learn from someone else's.

Yes!
The mindless reporting must stop
"...think of the children...will somebody pleeease think of the children!!"

I personally don't give a poop. There are excellent substitutions for "evil," like saying 'poop'.
