Do you think guys like Jeff Hardy suffer because Vince is obsessed with big wrestlers?
Vince wants his champs to be a certain build. Cena and Triple H, Orton, Edge Batista and other guys are being pushed by Vince because they are the right shape. All of those guys deserved to be pushed, but if any of those guys had the same popularity level but were the same size as Jeff Hardy would they get pushed. (well Triple H would be cuz hes banging Stephanie). I gurantee Hardy would have had a title run if he had the same body as Cena. Is Vince wrong to push wreslters because they are a certain build?
Follow up question- Can you do the Curry Man Dance. I got it down pretty good lol
Even if Jeff hadnt been suspended I dont think he was winning the title. He lost clean to Orton. And there hasn't been a small champion since Mysterio. Vince wanted Masters and Lashley to be the future of his company even though the fans dont support either wrestler. He luvs the big guys.

Lets face it. Even it had been for a week, Hardy would have gotten that chamionship at some point. He lacks discipline and passion these days, and you cant win titles in WWE with that kind of attitude. Many former WWE employees have said that. And as far a size goes, its no secret WWE favors the big guys. But look at Chris Jericho, he became the first Undisputed Champion. That means he beat both Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock at Backlash to win the WWE title and World title. Quite an accomplishment for a guy with small arms weighing in at an astonishing (sarcasm) 225 pounds. Then you cant forget the World Heavyweight title reign of Rey Mysterio after he defeated Kurt Angle and Randy Orton. Mysterio and Jericho both have charisma and are very over with the fans. Thats something they also have in common with Jeff Hardy. I do think however, that bigger guys with no fans are more likely to get the belt than smaller guys with no fans. You also have to take into consideration that Hardy spent more than half of his career as a jobber who oversold clotheslines. You cant just rush him into a title. WWE has a certain way of doing things, so we should sit back and watch them work their magic. And when Hardy returns, regains his trust from the WWE, and rises back to the main event spot, we can continue are angry rants of him not getting the belt.
Oh yeah, I've been practicing the Curry Man dance every day. I got really mad when I saw that Johnny Devine could do it easily during the Team Tomko promo. I think Im lacking the leg movements.

I think with Jeff it was himself who suffered after getting the 60 days suspension for a second Wellness violation. For sure he was set to win the MITB, win his title shot & have a rumored short title run.I agree that Vince has an ideal with the big guys. From Lashley,Masters, Nathan Jones. Matt Morgan right up to today with Cena, Batista,Snitsky,M Henry, Umaga, BDV & Khali on the roster.
All have gotten pushes at the expense maybe of the smaller more technically skilled wrestlers.I reckon it's wrong to focus on one physique.Rey, Chavo,CM Punk, Jeff, Jamie Noble etc are all equally charismatic and equally talented.

No. Hes the same size as Edge. Plus Orton isnt all that big either. Also look at the other title holders. Chavo, Jericho, Cody Rhodes and Holly, MVP, and Morrison and Miz. Maybe a few of these guys are more "cut" than Jeff, but none are any bigger.

No offense, but I would have probably picked a better poster-boy for your cause than Jeff Hardy. He seems to want to single-handedly destroy his own career.
NOW, back on topic. YES, WWE will push smaller wrestlers. Bret Hart, Shawn Micheals, Rey Misterio, even wrestlers like Chavo and CM Punk still get somewhat of a push.
And it's not Cena's physique that got him over, it's his controversial character and his ablilty to actually speak that got him over. The Body helps, but you usually have to have something else. (if you only needed a body, Chris Masters and Lex Luger would be multiple time WWE champs)
Source(s): Jeff was getting the push of a lifetime! CM Punk will probably win the MITB now and he will get a HARD push. There is a difference between Vince taping you to be the man and you ACUTALLY being the man. The FANS are the ones who eventually decide if a wrestler gets to the top. Nobody cared about Masters, and Lashley left. If Eddie and Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle were still around, you can bet they'd still be in the main event picture. - 1 decade ago
well thats one good reason. John cena got his popularity by the fans because mostly girls and little kids cheer for him and the mostly boo him. its a unique gimmick which made him a champ but he will not win at WM24 because he has a movie to make after mania. triple H well yeah your right there he's the boss son in law, but don't deny what he has done back in the attitude era. he's still in his prime. I can see him with more title reigns future. edge is a good heel. he has fought hard to get to the top and his reign is not going to last long because taker is set to win it. undertaker still has it and is still is a huge draw to the company and is proving to everyone that he can work physical and longer matches and I hope he gets more title reign in my opinion. batista dosn't desrve another title reign because he was almost in all the smackdown's main event ppv last year and I got bored. they should give batista a rest in the main events, or make him heel again.
I agree what you were saying but jeff hardy was set have title run but he got suspended for 60days after failing a drug test. I don't think he deserves to be in the title picture until he gets himself fixed. why does he keep doing this to himself is beyond me! will have to wait and see what jeff's future will be when he comes back.

Yep. Vince has a thing for big men.
They tend to get pushed where smaller men with more talent are left to flounder as low and mid carders.
If they could get away from this and have more lighter men at the top it would speed up the action.
Like boxing who would you rather watch 2 plodding heavyweights or 2 speedy welterweights.

Nope jeff was gettin his push and was guaranteed a title shot after Mania, until he got suspended, vince looks for three things, Talent, Discipline and popularity, jeff had 2 out of 3 for ages but needed to prove the discipline, failed got suspended and had to start again, poor jeff

well actually jeff hardy was getting the biggest push of his career but stephanie mcmahon told vince they shouldnt give him the title yet becuase they thought he was going to relapse so they tested him and he failed. so i think vince will make any wrestler champ as long as they are popular and well known and obviously a good in ring performer

Shawn Michaels, Rey Mesterio, CM Punk aren't that big in build and their popular.
