sims 3 seems like sims 2??

I agree with you!!! Even though they added a couple of great aspects to the game. They are still lacking in differentiating the Sims 3 from the Sims 2. The Sims 3 should be WAY different from the Sims 2, not just a LITTLE bit (in all aspects). Just like they did with the Sims 1 to the Sims 2 (that was a huge change)! I hope that the Sims 3 will turn out to have the same dramatic change just like the Sims 1 - the Sims 2 turned out.

*Personally I wouldn't buy the game next year if it stayed the same like it is now.

HELLO I AM FROM THE FUTURE WE WRITE IN CAPS :3 JFK We Don't But The Now They Have Started Developing SIMS 4 and Every One Will Most Likely Need A New Computer Because I Really Don't Know But Most Likely Will Need New Ones But If Sims 3 Would Have Been Sims 4 It Would Have Been More Of A BIG Improvement But Its Not SO That Must Be Why I Like Sims 2 Better Even Know Sims 3 Is Sort Of Different Because If You Look Closely They Speak Different In Sims 3 Then Sims 2 Maybe Just Maybe They Will Speak Different In Sims 4 But No One Cares P.S Stands for (Pointless Shep) LOL

Hi, I'm from the future where the Sims 4 has been out for about a month or two and it is not as good as Sims 3! Also the Sims got feelings but got much stupider and look more like a cartoon! Also you can't walk around the town so now its like Sims 2...But hey now you can make your Sims even more ducked up with the new grab and drag tool! Yes every thing even the inner eye itself!!!

Though it looks the same, it really isn't. Yea the careers are the sort of the same, and maybe the furniture or houses seem alike. But the sims actually has progressed to develop a better play with more creative things to do for your sim. You can also change the color of anything from what your sims wearing to the color of your walls and floors. I recommend looking at videos and such to have a new perspective of what the Sims 3 has become and how its a way better play than Sims 2.

in the sims 3 the people you are not playing as will live the same time as you sim so you can zoom into a sims house and see what theyre doing or so i heard. your sims can have more personality traits,like loner socialite jock artistic workaholic and more, your sims can also have up to 5 traits to mix there story up.you can now customize every thing from hair skin and eyes.they can walk around town and no that doesnt mean taking a taxi to a lot,they can go shopping in town and meet colliges or friends to. wikipedia said it was coming out in april 2009 thank god its not december. and the entire housing part is better for ex. the natural sunlight shines through windows and can create shadows and you can now place furniture at a 45 degree angle too as for nudity i dont think theyll be showing anynudity still the blurrs thank goodness. i hope that was good to all you people out there. ps: this is what ive heard from wikipedia and the sims3.com look at both sites for screenshots.

I read in a magazine that the emphasis on needs is going to be greatly reduced (i.e. toilet, shower, hunger etc.) that way you're not constantly having to make sure that your sim isn't going to piss himself at a party that he's thrown.

You're also able to do this sort of "Hand of God" type of thing and pick up garbage and put books away and so on and so forth for your sims should you so choose. Also instead of aspirations and fears there will be dreams and promises where you won't be penalized for not fulfilling your sims dreams. You select the dreams that you want and that then turns into a promise and you then have to keep said promise.

I hope that the sims 3 won't take up so much memory and stuff on my CPU I love the games but Man do I have to upgrade!

In the sims 3 u can go anywhere in town without the long wait! And new outfits, people etc.

Well for one thing it has same caratars and most of the same stuff as sims 2
