DIY baby mobile. where can I buy a small motor?

Your local Radio Shack may have them in stock, if not, I know you can order them online, or thru their catalog...for a 'mobile'...I'd stay away from the 'high speed' motors, hehehe.. those are usually used in RC models.

Edmund Scientific is another logical source, and often you can find small motors in 'multi' packs with them, for a small price.

Keep in mind you need to match the motor with your battery source (They need to be the same voltage, etc)

How about a clock, the type that runs on a 1.5 volt AA battery, small, cheap, light weight and they last a long time. They revolve one time a minute.

an old clock may work, but they may have something a little better at Radio Shack or a Farm and Fleet store.
