I have heard that the new Wii game is being taken off the market because of some trademark issues. You can see the story here http://funnyblogzone.blogspot.com/

This is highly unlikely... Sega would have kicked up a lot lot sooner than this... the game has been available in japan for several months. and the fact of Sonics inclusion has been known since late 2006.

Your source is full of it (or is that you trying to get people to go to your blog?).
The game would never have been published if SEGA had not been on board with Sonic showing up. They would have stopped the game from being published in the first place as soon as it was rumored that Sonic was going to be in it, not to mention that the game has already been out in Japan for quite a while, so we would have heard something by now.
The fact that Sonic is one of only two non-Nintendo characters to ever show up in a Super Smash Bros game is free publicity for SEGA, since the inclusion of the third party characters was covered more heavily than the new first party characters.
Then there's the fact that your source doesn't even know what game he is talking about.

Obviously the information you have here is false. To begin with, such a highly publicized game would have been in legal trouble before release had Nintendo not verified the licensing for Sonic from Sega. Also in the article it says Super Smash Bros. MELEE! Melee does not have any third party property in it, and the new one is entitled Brawl. And last but not least is from FUNNYblogzone, and is such a short article, with no sources.

No way.
-The source isn't very reliable; they gave the wrong game title.
-There was a big deal about Sega allowing Nintendo the right to use Sonic
-Sega isn't that big; having Sonic in such a huge game is free publicity
-Sega + Nintendo are getting along lately- Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games :) Yes, Yes, playing nice.
I'd cry for those who didn't get a copy if you're right!!!
Check smashbros.com out for *real* news on Brawl. ;)

They took it off the market because most every Wii owner found out that the game could not be read. It's not the disks fault, its the Wii. Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb (g4tv.com/x-play) said something about a website that will repair your Wii for no charge.
