Why can't Dems immigrate to Canada the same way Mexicans are immigrating to the US?

The way America is heading, and I am on talking about just Republicans but Democrats as well there might be people taking them up on that offer.

If things continue in the medical arena and in the stamping upon our rights in America we might have a lot of people leaving. Unfortunately they might be the wealthy and educated.

BTW since the 1960s we have seen a steady decline in American's freedom. Both parties are to blame for this.

I am a democrat & love the life I have in this country. It is perfect for me. I believe in having faith over fear but I also believe not everyone is at the same place at the same time. So if i see a baby, elderly person that needs help or someone fall in the street I reach out & help. I know alot about alot of people> People have always trusted me & told me alot of things. I grew up around people who had abortions, were on government assistance. crooks, all kinds of people & millionaires. I do not know everything about people but I know that I have also had some ups & downs in my life. I appreciate that I have so much & don't mind giving to others. We have a country now that spends a fortune on war & doesn't want to help those in need right here. So I stand up for what I believe in which is to give people an education which we do but also give people health care. It is too much to explain why there are people who need this & why they deserve it & why it is important. The crazy thing is that the tax payer is going to pay anyway. It is really no point trying to explain things to someone who is too closed minded to understand but it is for the good of everyone in this country to not vote for another person like George Bush. To say democrats should leave the country shows you have no appreciation for all that is done for you by alot of people in this country who are democrats & that includes soldiers & their family. Democrats don't want to leave but they would like to get you to understand what is in your best interest & you just can't get it so that is ok with me but I try.

Canada has VERY strict rules for immigration.

Canada does deport any illegal immigrants found.

The dollar here is the same as yours - more or less.

And Canada is NOT afraid to say NO to many American appliants.

Canada has already said "no thanks, we dont want you" to 2 American soldiers who were cowards and went AWOL. They applied as refugees and were DENIED. They claimed they were in danger. Poppycock. They will be prosecuted but not persecuted in USA for not accepting the Iraqi war.

USA seems to have trouble saying NO.

One more thing - the Canadian economy is VERY DEPENDENT on the USA. We sell almost all our oil to USA, and most of our manufactuired goods goes to USA as well.

If the US dollar goes down, so does ours. If the US crashes, we will probably crash as well, since there is a sudden drop in demand for our products. OTOH we can always find new markets to sell to.

Amd I do hope this NAFTA deal dies an ugly death.

It is difficult to emigrate to Canada. Unlike us, they are serious about controlling immigration. I wonder why Liberals don't accuse the Canadians of being racists?

Plus it's actually pretty hard to move to Canada - they only take certain people with certain professions, etc.

Plus - most Democrats are Democrats because they love America. Wouldn't quite make sense, would it?

If there was a country called "Moneyland" I'm sure most conservatives would want to move there.
