I currently have a really old cell phone, but just renewed my 2-year contract for t-mobile. After a couple of months, I decided I wanted to get a new phone. I really like the Rumors by LG. Here is a link to see it. http://www.laptopmag.com/review/cell-phones/rumor-... The only problem is that I have t-mobile and the phone is for sprint. Can i just buy the phone and pop in my SIM card just like that and start using it??? But is it that simple?? do i have to contact the company or something? and I heard about buying an unlocked phone. can someone explain that?

NO. The Rumour from LG and Sprint is a CDMA phone, and T-Mobile is a GSM carrier. Totally incompatible. The Rumour wouldn't even have a SIM card slot. Sorry!

I have purchased a phone in an EBay auction, but I had to ensue that the phone was compatible with my carrier. If the phone is compatible all you would have to do is insert your sim card into the new phone and all would be well.
