i think you'll be fine. I live in FL and there is no way I was going to be able to NOT lay out for nine months. I used the usual tanning lotions....my dr even said I could tan in the tanning bed (cuz I liked being tan and wanted to do whatever it took to make myself FEEL pretty while being pregnant) as long as I felt okay and made sure I didn't lay out too long and get overheated :-) Enjoy

You shouldn't be laying out at all. You could be very sensitive to sunlight right now. Take it from someone who's had skin cancer removed, it's no fun at all! Use a sunless tanner. It could also raise your body temp too high for the baby.

You should be fine, but definitely don't go to a tanning bed. You can harm your unborn child, as tanning can increase core temp and reduce vital vitamins and Folic acid in your body, thus causing birth defects

yes it is safe but i would be more careful as get further along not with the oil but exposing the stomach to the sun my daughter in law is pregnant and her doc told her once she was showing around 4months to cover her stomach while in the sun if for a long period of time

I think I'd feel a little uncomfortable laying out, I'd be afraid it would be too hot for the baby even at 8 wks. They say if you take a bath, it should never be more than 98 degrees. I think laying out would be that hot if not hotter. Please be careful.

I would say it wouldn't effect your baby, because your baby is inside of you and the oil is skin to skin.. Unless you get hungary and get a craving for the tropical taste... than i think you will be fine sweety good luck :]

You should not be tanning at all while you are pregnant. It basically cooks the baby inside of your stomach. If you don't believe me you need to talk to your doctor.
