I wonder why?

I have a friend that complains that her sex drive has been real low since she been on her anti-depressants. She even complain about not having an appetite. Any suggestions?

    Those are common side-effects of ant-depressants. If it's causing her alot of concern, then I suggest that she bring this up to her doctor, who can either modify her dosage or change her meds altogether.

    yes that is very common when people first get on anti-depressants. It might pass... or she will need to be put on a different drug. Is she taking Zoloft, because that usually kills your sex drive and appetite. Prozac, on the other hand, doesn't-- in my experience anyway. I was switched from Zoloft to prozac after not eating for a week straight.
