Don't you wish you had looked after your toys?

Update:

As a few have said - the fun of toys is to play with them. Still, I wouldn't mind finding a few in good enough condition for that kind of money

I don't think I had anything which would be worth much now, just Barbies, my little ponies etc. I cut all their hair off too, so they are definitely worthless now!

Oh yes .. i can recall my brother having every star wars toy ever invented and me smashing them up as he had cut the hair off all my little ponies .

Our parents bought us loads of fab toys and we as kids do trashed them .

Just recently by brother has had a son and is determined he will like star wars so is in the process of buying him all the toys he had and riddled with guilt i have promised to buy my nephew some stuff ..i almost died when i saw what they are going for on ebay ..

I didn't have many toys and the ones I did have I looked after, one of my sons looks after all his old toys, 99% of them are in mint condition he is 27 now and some of them are already worth a lot of money, clever boy.

No point dwelling on the past. Toys are there to be played with, not much fun when they're locked in a glass cabinet.

No I am glad I had the fun I did when I was a kid, instead of keeping things in mint condition and boxed for money

Good money for old well preserved toys...no I do not wish I looked after my toys as they are for playing with. No use for house or ornament.

I wish I'd looked after me teeth though ...lol

Do I wish I was that strange person down the hall with all the shelves of untouched toys?

    Uh, that would be no.

Which is why I'm cool, but broke, LOL!

Only one of them, and it wouldn't have been for the money. It would have been for the toy itself.

I did and so did my kids but stupidly we gave them all away as we outgrew them. Someone probably made a bomb from all the (still boxed) star wars stuff etc.
