    Oh, of course!!

At 18 mos. your child is still considered a baby.

Let them have it, they need all the warmth, love and

    security they can get!

My son had his until age 4.

Another one never cared for them.

It's just another thing, like pacifiers, that are needed

right now. Young children need all the help they can

    get security-wise.

It'll help you feel better, too knowing they feel safe without

    you right there, - It's a short-term habit.

Most just let them go on their own, but your child's

    still young!

    Let them have it...:)

I see nothing wrong with that. It is completely normal. I worked at a daycare with 1-2yr olds and many of them had special blankets or stuffed animals.

Just make it a nice light one, should be fine, my daughter was sleeping with blankets at that age

As long as they just sleep with it. It looks pretty dumb when you see a toddler clutching a brown battered blanket for dear life in Target.

why not, the only problem is the chance of separation anxiety.

My issue at the moment is getting a 2 and a half to give up their dummy.

    in time it will happen.

i don't see anything wrong with it let the baby cuddle that one and cover your baby up with a bigger blanket
