why does everyone think Matt Ryan is going to save the dolphins?

WTF the Dolphins aren't even going to draft that piece of sheet. 1st overall pick is Glenn Dorsey, Jake Long, or Chris Long (only if they buy into the "son of Howie" hype bullshit). No-one is gonna draft Matt until like the 20s if not later!

Okay you can't knock Matt Ryan for having no one to throw to, but I don't know who's saying he will solve any of the dolphins problems. Chris Long won't do much to help a defense with Joey Porter and Jason Taylor either. Randy Starks and Jason Furgeson mean that DT won't be first. If the Dolphins can't trade out of first then I still think they will draft Jake Long and wait a year or at least a couple of rounds to get a qb (Chad Henne if they get one this year). Tim Couch and David Carr were both good quarterbacks that got put in bad situations. Do you honestly think that Tom Brady would be the player he is without Drew Bledsoe and Bill Bellicheck?

I think a lot of people have moved off the dolphins take ryan bandwagon. But all they did was jump on the Ryan to falcons bandwagon. People are so obsessed with QB and expect QB to go high. Ryan is not the the best player in this draft. He not the 3rd best player in this draft. He is only the best QB in a pretty weak class of qbs. and even then its really not by much. I dont know how anyone can say he is that much better Brian Brohm, Joe Flacco, or Chad Henne. Does anyone even think Ryan is better than last years Brady Quinn? and Quinn went 22. Get Over it people Ryan is not going to go at one of those top 3 spots.

matt ryan won't save the dolphins... i am a huge fan of him and no one person can save the dolphins... if he gets drafted there he will play poorly and it won't be his fault beacuse there is no player that can turn around that franchise

I think you just said it, he had marginal talent around him and he still led the Eagles to 3 straight bowl victories and back-to-back seasons with 10 or more wins in one of the toughest conferences.

In other words, he proved that he can carry an offense.

he has potential, its not his fault that his offense was ran a certain style. (plus he didn't have star receivers) I saw his workout, and he looks good, he will be a good quarterback.

The fins will not take him. He will fall to the Raiders and they will take him now that Russell is their new 300lb. lineman.
