Would you put more trust into Chinese or Western astrology, which one???

Both are BS.

But if I had to choose, Chinese. Why? People of the same age (Chinese astrology relies on the year a person is born) tend to have similar interests compared to separating a person by which month he/she was born in (which is the Western approach).

Only because I am more familar with western would I would have to say western. But I would like to learn more about Chinese and combine the information. Also I think that Indian astrology is interesting, I know they use the same signs as us but they divide the sky up differently than us, I found out that through Indian astrology I was considered a Gemini, but I was born on June 30th. It was all very interesting.

I don't know much about Chinese Astrology but many say it is more accurate. I have to put more trust in Western Astrology if it is done correctly by the birth date, month day and time of day and location. I can't trust what I don't know!

I don't know a lot about Chinese Astrology, either..until now the Western one has worked perfectly for me(and I have to admit that perhaps the animals concept is a bit harder for me to understand)

So, since my knowledge of both is not at the same level, I can't really tell...and I think there are not many Chinese astrologers in the section, are they? Perhaps if more of them were there, I would possibly learn more about it...

I prefer western astrology because I understand it more and feel that it describes me more accurately (good and bad traits).I'm a fire dragon in chinese astrology,some of that fits me,simular to what I've read about my ascendant/moon sign descriptions,but alot is left out and could be coincidence.I'd go with what you feel personally is more accurate for you,astrology is only an interpetation,and different types of astrology see different facets of you so to speak.Bottom line,if it really doesn't fit then it simply doesnt work for you,mabe try another type for a more indepth interpetation.Just my humble opinion anyway.

For now, I will trust Western Astrology.

I find both to be true. Western astrology is way more developed than Chinese astrology though. But both give valid insight.

I agree with Janet. It is very wise on your part to acknowledge both western and Chinese astrology. It is funny how are temperaments vary depending on the moment we were born. I really like that. It make everyone unique! I applaud you in trying to understand both. Wish I could say more. Janet kinda said everything I wanted to say.

I understand Western astrology better, that's for sure. As far as Chinese astrology goes, I've discovered that there's a lot more to it than just the animal signs for the year...

I have to stick with Western. Chinese astrology in my opinion, is way too broad and the descriptions can apply to anyone. What's funny is that none of it applies to me. Whereas with Western astrology, I see so many things that others and I can relate to that it just can't be coincidence. It's more reliable and specific but that's just from my point of view. It could be that it's just the type of astrology that I'm more accustomed to and that's why I identify more with it.
