The question motives seem to my point of views are to let the questioner know that how many of us are answering the question in the right sense. There are people who are answering the questions to get the points to go up level. However, there are also persons who are answering the questions from teaching point of views. In both the cases,to get lot of points I think to choose the right question about which you are sure for a right answer. Moreover, you choose such questions of the questioners who do not want more days unnecessary to increase and the questioner is capable to choose appropriate answer.On the otherhand,if you asked the questions then these should be interesting purposes which can be answered easily by the persons who want to answer your questions. The questions concerning Pool & Surveys can provide more points than other catogries of questions as I observe in this site. In this way one can get a lot of points quick on this site.Thanks to the questioner for interesting question.

do the points really matter? no! they do not provide you with any thing other than a number. just have fun, ask questions, answer questions. whatever. at the end of the day, the points don't really matter, it's if you had fun. this is not a real competition or challenge or "game" with teams playing each other. this is a message board. the points are just a "carrot" if you will. because they keep you on the site longer and yahoo makes money. so, just ask, answer, whatever, just have fun.

answer all the questions you can, there is a limit for eahc level, but just go to the limit, and then hopefully you will get best answers so you will get the 2 points for anaswering all the questions, and then 10 ponits for each best answer. if you ask a question it is minus 5 points, and if you pick a best answer it is plus 2 points, so really if you ask a question it is minus 3 points as long as you pick a best answer. !! good luck! and make sure when you answer questions that they are really good answers not just asnwers to get you the 2 points you know

Have lots of Best Answers, they are worth 10 points. Do the work like the rest of us.

you are actually losing 5 pnts when you ask a question.Just answer a lot of questions which u get 2 pnts for.
