Is this the America we want?

With democrats trying to make our country socialist with nationla healthcare, and republicans trying to restrict us more with the patriot act and stripping away our civil liberties, who is going to help us get back to the basics of freedom in this country? No single candidate running for president seems to care about our freedoms that our ancestors fought so hard for. Why?

Clinton was the one that started the Patriot Act, and there is nothing wrong with the Patriot Act. Also, Clinton wanted a Patriot Act that was far stronger than President Bush's. Republicans in congress even voted against what Clinton wanted.

I agree with the Patriot Act. America is at war with terrorists and they don't wear uniforms. Every year America catches foreigners accused of terrorism on U.S. soil.

Some of our "businesses" are nothing more than monopolies owned by criminals. Our economy is based on greed and crime. Greed has to be controlled. If it is not, then the country dives into chaos. That being said, I think Exxon ought to be nationalized along with all the other American oil companies. Their funds ought to be used to put solar panels on the houses of Americans and to help them with get their houses back. The whole banking fiasco is caused by the greed of banks who are basically loan sharks. Nothing wrong with socialism. They just care for the needs of the many over the few billionaires. The reverse is true here.

No, America today is being run by international corporations and big business and the rich of the world.

America supplies the labor for their profit because we are the most able to supply the resources to accomplish their goals which is PROFIT for them!!!

The day that America's not able to perform, another group or nation will take our place to fulfill their profit margins.

I don't accept that the Democrats are a Socialist party. If you want to see Socialism then go to Europe and look at how huge amounts of industry are actually owned by government. I don't see Hillary or Obama calling for that.
