How do you report "hate" email to Yahoo Answers when it comes from a possible Troll?

Write to abuse@yahoo.com and forward them a copy of the hate mail.

I hope you saved the email. okay,

first open it, now click on forward

next send it to: abuse@yahoo.com

I always send a short note to let them know why I have forwarded this to them.

then I click the button that reads send.

I save a copy of the hate mail in my file cabinet on AOL.

I go back and make sure I have blocked this person, then I go into my 360 and block them there, too.

I just hate it when stupid people give me a thumbs down or email me about some question i've answered about the weather or something else I have no control over.

some guy emailed me last week telling me not to answer his gf questions anymore because he wore the pants and was the boss of her. it made me just cringe, i forwarded the email to my mom and she sent it to yahoo.

she emailed me later and told me how to handle it from now on! so what i said above is how i deal with it, now!

Block that person out. Is the 1st step.

You send it to the ID Stephen says. It is always good to let Yahoo know.

I have gone through it. Yahoo mails back to say we should block them and such. And that is what I do immediately.

It is becoming very common. Hate mails. I had someone accusing me of giving him a "Thumbs Down"! He cares so much about it! Teenagers all.

Since it was a email, they should be able to see if it was altered(maybe?) and you can let them know the problem, but it may take multiple hate emails for yahoo to see the trends of this troll that... "Yes the deserve to die, and I hope they burn in Hell too!" Samuel Jackson!

Just in case, go into "My Profile" and edit your settings so that people can no longer email you. It will at least keep someone from harassing you again.
