The Blair Witch Project, real/ not opinions?
OK last night I watched the Blair witch and my sister insists it's real I think it's totaly fake, maybe based on some true but I don't think if that really happened that the parents would let the tape go public. we've read theories from people watch the ending in super slow moe and we can't figure out what the heck happened. So what do you guys think? Fake? Real? A bit of both? It was very much fake. The actors are all alive and safe. Whether or not they are still acting is another story LOL. It was fake, but very well done to make us believe it was real

It was completely fake. However before it's release the producers pretended it was real and went to great lengths to give that impression (such as listing the actors as missing - presumed dead).
It worked really well and the added publicity made it such a success. That could be why your sister thinks it's real.
However, the actors weren't told the entire script and at the time were told that the mythology was genuine. They didn't know what was going on some of the time (such as when there are the noises outside the tent and the tent begins to shake) so some of it is real in the sense that they were genuine reactions from the actors

This movie is totally fabricated! The only thing "real" about it, is that they really were in the woods, and that each day the cast were given there scrips to the basic ideas of what they were to do. However, I think I read somewhere, that they didn't know all that was going to happen, to make it seem ore realistic! It was completely fake, in fake the girl who plays heather was on Jay Leno to advertise the movie, so..sorry.not real!

The blair witch project was made about 10 years ago or so.
It was a movie made with something like a budget of 1000
bucks and when on to generate 150 million.
It was phenomenal. But it is something made up. It certainly was extremely creepy.

Not real. Just a movie made to look like actual events being filmed. Just like Cloverfield, The Final Broadcast, and Diary of the Dead.

It is definitely a fake. It is so bad that I don't understand why anyone would think that it is scary. I am sorry for anyone that could think that it was real.

The movie is just that . . . a movie. It was filmed in
Montgomery County, MD in a wooded park, near to where I used to live.

No, the movie's director said it was not real and the script wirter said he worte it off a dream he had and if it was real, then whoa was it creepy!
