Which guitarist is more skilled as a musician? Jimmy Page or Jimi Hendrix?
I think Page because he produced and wrote great songs. But tell me the two asepects that either rules in and why. Guitar Playing Skills, and Producing/ song writing skills.

Hendrix hardly had a chance to live his life. Dead at 27 you can't really compare the body of work between the two. Both wonderful talents to be sure.
Hendrix's skills were absolutely unbelievable. Try singing lead and playing lead guitar at the same time. Page never had to do that. He just played.
Hendrix was the greatest guitar player of his day. It's just too bad that he never realized his full potential.

See the sites of the best guitar players and listen their solos and you will note what guitar player had more influence over them.
What did Hendrix with a guitar beyond to burn them or to make voodoo with tem. Total bullshit, that Hendrix and his contribution for the music.

Jimi Hendrix because of his guitar playing skills! To me he had way more skills than any guitarist of all time!
