Do you believe actions have consequences?
then, do you believe that God would allow a child to be born with HIV as the consequence of the mother's poor choice?

Yes, there are always consequences for all our actions.
A child being born with HIV is incredibly bad luck for the child. That is a consequence for the Mother having HIV in the first place, although the chances of a Mother with HIV having a child with HIV are small. It is no reflection on God. If your God deliberately infected a child with HIV just because the Mother made poor choices then he would be a cruel and sadistic God. If this were the case God would be punishing us all and our offspring as punishment for poor choices because lets face it, we all make poor choices from time to time.

Yes I believe that actions have consequences, but I do not believe he would allow a child to be born with HIV because of a mother's choice. This is like the story in the Bible of the blind man who asked which of his parents sinned. And Christ said neither.

If actions did not have consequences, we would all be living in a paradise without hate, anger, and work. Adam and Eve took the action of eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and as a consequence, the world became the one we know, with hate, racism and sin.

Yes, actions have consequences we are told to practice safe sex especially these days. If you do not practice safe sex, your consequence is a child. AIDS has been announced all over the country if not around the world, we need be responsible for our actions. As for god we have been warned about AIDS. It is out of gods hands, and up to us to obey.

Well, if your god knows ahead of time the fate of each human being, then yes, it allowed that child to be born with HIV.

All actions have consequences, since causality demands it. Every cause has an effect. and every effect is the result of a cause.
This doesn't apply to first causes, of course, even though every first cause results in an effect.
