Kids first car..........?
Are you planning or did you buy your kid's first car instead of making them work and pay for it themselves? Or, did you buy it and they have to pay you back?

I am a 19 year old male. I drive a 2002 Camaro. I had to work to pay off half of whatever car I wanted. My parents want me to work while I am in college and pay off what I can with any extra money I have. Which isn't much but shows that nothing comes free. I have to pay my own insurance too. I suggest going in on a deal like this or making them buy it themselves. because 99 percent of the time this may not be the case but when you just give a kid a car they will not take care of it like they would if they have to pay for it. My car looks better now than it does the day I bought it. And i take pride because it is something i work for and have to show for it.

Heck no.... I had to buy all of my vehicles myself. When you are old enough to get a job.... you get one, it teaches responsibility.
My fiance had everything given to her when she was a kid.... what am I talking about... she still does. Anyway, she's pretty much a spoiled little brat when it comes to money, and I don't want my son to grow up like that.
