Where's the Muslim outrage for this?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,344409,00.html

In the article, an Imam is quoted as advocating MURDER and RAPE of non-muslims as a HOLY act.

where's the Muslim outrage at this?

Update:

I know this came from Muslims who speak out against the Jihadists. I'm not trying to provoke an arguement, I'm just wondering why more aren't condemming this.

I never said that EVERY muslim has to condemn EVERY act of terrorism, but it just seems like these people (Islam-watch) truly are in the minority.

It's not that I believe that they Are, they just seem to be.

Update 2:

Practical thinking, if you don't like the source, don't comment.

What's really dangerous about this meme - and I'm not pointing any fingers at the questioner, it is a widespread and often repeated meme - is the ultimate conclusion it arrives at.

It goes something like this - "the moderate Muslim masses are failing to reach our arbitrary standard of what is sufficent condemnation of terrorism. Therefore, the Muslim masses by their silence condone or even support terrorism. We know terrorism is wrong, but the Muslims clearly do not. This is because they are not as civilized as us. It is our duty to help them become civilised. We do this by dropping many bombs on them from a great height until they learn what civilization truly means."

I as a Muslim am expected to condemn every random act of terrorism, as if the assumption is that I support it, until I speak out and say I do not. Even when I do speak up, it is not enough unless I march in the streets. Even if I march in the streets, it is not enough until it gets on your six o clock news.

Tell you what. How about you make the assumption that Muslims do not support terrorism unless they say so explicitly?

Added: If you are looking for a general attitude among Muslims of condemation of terrorism, it is very easy to find -go to any mosque, talk to Muslims in your locality, post at Muslim forums - it is everywhere. The TV and mass media is probably not the best place to look, as unfortunately the vast majority of peace loving Muslims don't make good copy. I will tell you, since you asked for the Muslim perspective, from where we stand, no matter how often and how strongly we condemn terrorism, our words appear to fall on deaf ears.

    Fine, no comment on FOX.

There is outrage. You just don't see it. I'm sure that if your group, whatever it is, if it had extremists or fanatics that made your group look bad, you would be outraged. But would the popular media pay attention to you? No. That is because the popular media looks for sensationalist stories, which are often generated by the "loudest voice." I'm sure many mormons are offended by the splinter groups that advocate polygyny that claim to be mormons. I'm sure some are even outraged. But we don't really see them in the news. We see the polygynous groups. What of the christian groups that allow their children to die through refusal of medical care? The believe that only prayer to G-d can cure anything. Where is the outrage? I don't see christian groups rounding up these child abusers. I hear people say it's a tragedy, I hear some say it's criminal, I hear some say they've taken religion too far, and they are outraged, but then what? You see more stories about the children dying than the people that are angry over these deaths. What about the "bad" soldiers and marines? Our news is full of stories of servicemen and women who have committed war crimes. As far as I know, no soldier or marine is happy about that. They too are outraged, but do you see them marching in streets? Do you see them making news commentary? The most you see is the canned official response from the investigation. It doesn't seem like outrage when they say they are looking into it. But I'm willing to bet that those officers are infuriated that a fellow serviceman/woman would willingly tarnish the reputation of the armed forces. Where is the outrage you ask? It's there, the problem is that the popular media doesn't care. They get more viewership from stories about disturbed extremists.

nicely, my first concept is that Michelle Malkin is an execrable author of polemics who works for an exceedingly undesirable newspaper so i guess i'm wondering why such an obviously smart guy as you is reading her crappppp. That aside, the extremist Muslims are basically easy nuts like each extremists. As your guy, Aristotle, so sagely counseled, In all issues, moderation. Even moderation could be taken carefully because there are literally situations even as howls of rage are noted as for. i can not imagine the position the Nike type matches in until eventually it is something to do with Nike's exploitation of kid not effortless paintings. And is it in easy terms me or shouldn't there be a topless component to the omit global competition. I listen score are sagging (laugh) in modern-day years and some boobage would help that out. I, in my view, am OUTRAGED that there is not any tassel twirling contained in the expertise contest!!! wish this helps sparkling up this thorny count number number.

Why should Muslims be outraged at this?

It is what the Qur'an teaches.

It is what radical Imams promote. How naive are you concerning Islam? Did you know that Muhammad advocated lies, as long as they are used to further the cause of Islam? Do not believe what hear from their mouths. Islam means Submission, not Peace. Stop believing the Western Media.

When I read the article... it was Muslims who hate such teachings that exposed it...

"A report posted on Islam Watch, a site run by Muslims who oppose intolerant teachings and hatred for unbelievers, exposes a prominent Islamic cleric and lawyer who support extreme punishment for non-Muslims — including killing and rape."

Why would there be outrage? He is just citing proper islamic behavior and islamic understanding based upon fundamental understanding of the Quran and the various sahih hadiths.

The Quran and authentic islamic scriptures not only allows slavery and sex with captured women and slave girls (4.3, 4.24, 23.6, 33.50, 70.30), it even says that Allah may even pardon those who forced their slave girls to sell their bodies. Also, one should not "pull out" before ejaculation when having sex with slave girls (rape) as what will be will be.

    Here are the passages,

Quran 24.33: Force not your slave-girls to whoredom that ye may seek enjoyment of the life of the world, if they would preserve their chastity. And if one force them, then (unto them), after their compulsion, lo! Allah will be Forgiving, Merciful.

Following hadiths shows that prophet of islam and other jihadis used to capture women in raids and had sex with them (which is technically raping of helpless captives)

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 34, Number 432:

    Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

that while he was sitting with Allah's Apostle he said, "O Allah's Apostle! We get female captives as our share of booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interrupt us?" The Prophet said, "Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 3, Book 46, Number 718:

    Narrated Ibn Muhairiz:

I saw Abu Said and asked him about coitus interruptus. Abu Said said, "We went with Allah's Apostle, in the Ghazwa of Barli Al-Mustaliq and we captured some of the 'Arabs as captives, and the long separation from our wives was pressing us hard and we wanted to practice coitus interruptus. We asked Allah's Apostle (whether it was permissible). He said, "It is better for you not to do so. No soul, (that which Allah has) destined to exist, up to the Day of Resurrection, but will definitely come, into existence."

There is none and there will be none. If Islam was the religion of peace that some claim that it is, those upset over things of this nature would have a louder voice than those calling for these things to happen. Their silence speaks louder than they know!
