Isn't the term "true Christian" judgmental?
What does it really matter? If a person is a Christian, then he/she is a Christian. What gives anyone the right to judge whether someone is a "true Christian" or not? "True Christian" only divides Christianity even more.
Einstein: It would help if you actually answered the question. Also, at the moment, I have no god telling me not to judge. Christians do.

Yes, it is.
I think that people who identify themselves as Christian are Christian. If they believe that Jesus saved humanity, then they are Christian. Period.
I also think that the term "True Christian" divides people in general, not just those in the Christian religion. It further propagates the "us vs them" mentality.

I am sitting here shaking my head on this one, and just wondering what other Children of God are thinking ??? I wonder what they do with the Scriptures that say we are to lift each other, keep each other in line, watch out for each other, admonish each other for wrongs, etc..... and by *each other* I do mean fellow believers ..... If I make the comment that a *true Christian* beleives the Word of God, that is NOT judgmental, that is the truth in the Word...... If I say a *true Christian* does NOT try to crame the Word of God down anothers throat, that is NOT judgmental, that is truth in the Word...... but, I seldom if ever use the term *true Christian*, because it means nothing, what does, is the Body of Christ, now that is where we are seperated..... Only the Holy Spirit can put anyone INTO the Body of Christ, and NOT all who say they are a member are !!!!! And that too is in the Scriptures !!!! And yes, division is a normal and scripturual thing, we will be divided into Sheep and Goat.... Not all who say Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.... *shrug*...... and so it goes.......... go in peace....... God bless

Only if I'M the one calling them that.
Seriously, I am of the opinion that most people, even rogue Nephilim like myself, use the term "True" Christians to differentiate between the one's who have wholeheartedly dedicated their life and future to Christianity, and the "Posers". Prison is full of "Christians" who talk the talk and carry Bibles, then revert to their evil lifestyle before the prison gate has finished closing. Just saying "I've been saved, so I'm a true Christian" does not qualify you, any more than saying "I'm a Hell's Angel" automatically makes you one.
The same thing applies to Atheists; there are many different levels, from posers who want to try to display their "individuallity" because they think that Atheism is SO cool, to "True Non-Believers".
Final Answer: Actions and deeds speak volumes more than mere words.

yes, because according to the bible, the only person that can judge another's heart is God. So, the term "true Christian" is wholly judgmental, as it is separating people into two categories: True Christians and Non-true Christians.

Not being judgemental means not having a holier-than-thou attitude. It doesn't mean accepting everything anyone else does or says "in the name of Christ".
The Bible itself warns that not everyone who claims to be a Christian really is one. It also says to beware of false teachers who come as wolves in sheep's clothing. Christians have a Biblical mandate to practice discernment in what and whom they believe.

Yes I would have to agree, because it would be subjective based on what each person or Christian deems to be 'true'.

Your right! a christian is a christian! either you are or your not.
If you are Jesus is at the center of your life you are - if he's not your not.
God loves you....God bless

It would seem so, what would be the opposite and who is qualified to make that "judgment."
