Have you heard about this? (the ---- You Campaign)?
Some guy (can't leave a link or I'll get reported) came up with a campaign to rid the internet of annoying advertising. I'll have to clean up the language to post it here, but here's his email to the Wii advertising department:
Yeah, I got a ------' problem. Tell your bosses that their ads SUCK! I don't move my mouse across a page expecting to click on something that wasn't there a second ago. Your ad has the space that it's alloted. That's it. If an ad moves across the page to get under my mouse, you are NOT making a ------- sale on my watch. Whoever came up with this ---- is a ------- moron.
What's that? You don't like the tone I'm taking? You don't like the language I'm using in relation to your advertising department? Well, maybe your advertising department shouldn't had drawn in somebody so foul as me. Your morons gave me the invite when they stuck their ad in front of the place I wanted to click on. Y'all ought to give intelligence tests before you hire people.
P-ssing people off at random is NOT a good way to make a sale.
----, my daughter's been bugging me for a Wii. I might not know much about it, but I can ------- guarantee you that I'll do my homework and make ------- sure your competition makes a sale. Newsflash: YOU are reliant on the customer to make money. DON'T ---- us off.
I'm as red-blooded American as you can get, but THAT'S modern American advertising for ya. Y'all think you can shove ---- down our throats, and we'll thank you for it.

All he's asking is that you pick the advertising that bothers you the most, and go ahead and click on it. Surf around a little, and find their advertising department, or customer service. Let them know how you feel about they way that they advertise, in no uncertain terms. Be as nasty as you like, since it's them that forced their way onto your computer, they must be inviting you there. Just don't buy anything from them.

i didnt put that there but i know what you mean its like when i was waiting under the tree to catch acorns only the squirrels might be up there and they get mad if you get there first you just have to wait for them to get bored first and not get bored yourself and if you do then you still have to wait. what if you need a wee or worse a number 2 well you can do it in your pants it stays in there a bit and if you are lucky it wont get too uncomfortable or you can wait and hold it in and maybe just maybe get lucky while you are waiting or you can just pull them right down and go but i prefer to not because sometimes when you do that people say it isnt right so it cant be and you can get into so much trouble and still not catch the acorns so the squirrels win. pesky squirrels theyve got the advantage they can just go anywhere and no one tells them off. sometimes its annoying like you wait for all afternoon and then someone says are you still there you were there when i walked past earlier and you try to ignore them and they don't go away and they ask again or ask something stupid like are you alright and you have to be nice so you say yes it is and you are just waiting for the acorns and they say well that isnt even an acorn tree try that one over there and the squirrels probably are laughing at me when that happens or worse they told the man and his dog and with the girl who i think is his daughter because she is the right age to be and he is the right age to be her dad and then they are with the squirrels too and they are also laughing at you. i tell you its the worst and you say patrick has never had resepect? im not sure if he's like frihah because i don't really know who that is but they don't have those funny accents like the squirrels do and i do find them annoying i think if i try real hard and go out now and practise and go out later too then i'll be better than them but i don't know about patrick.
so my vote is for patrick too

Wow. That guy REALLY has a problem. But really, ads suck unless its from the site itself.

I haven't heard about it. But I think the wording is a little bit extreme.
